~~ Hello ~~ Fresh From My Garden.......
Hello Everyone...
We are back home...had a great "vacation" with our Miss V...
Still sorting thru those pictures...but...I thought I should share...
A few pics I snapped today...
The extreme heat, has really brought my Peonies to bloom..
When we returned home on Sunday...
I noticed a few were going to burst open any minute...
We had thunderstorms yesterday, so I did not get out there until this am...
After Papa left with Miss V...to drop at daycare...I ventured out back 💕
But...only after she and I shed a few tears each...and many kisses and hugs...
The house is soooo quiet now...so funny, how you can miss them so much...
Ok...before I start to blubber again...
Enjoy my latest Peonies...the delicate PINK...I think...are my favorite...
But...
Shhhhhhhh...
Don't tell the others...I would not want to offend...tee hee hee...
Hope you all had a great weekend...
Our weather was perfect...and some much needed rain too...
Today is glorious...breezy and beautiful...windows open...
And...
The house smells like ***~~~PEONIES~~~***...
Enjoy your day...your evening...your week...
Cheers! :o)

Oh Linda, your photos of the peonies are gorgeous! What a soft and delicate pink shade. They must smell so good around the house. I'm glad you had a good weekend with Miss V and that the weather cooperated too. XX Pam

It wasn't until I was an adult did my nana tell me that she cried every time her grandchildren left.
ReplyDeleteYup! Especially after 4 days...♥️
DeleteGosh Linda, your peonies are absolutely gorgeous! I had one bloom this year. But it was a pretty one. We had a great weekend. Weather was hot, but tolerable. I'm at the beach this week and we're getting rain from Tropical Storm Colin. The tropical storms seem to have started early. We're already on letter 'C'.
ReplyDeleteThanks Laurie....they do make me smile.
DeleteI saw that storm on tv...hopefully it will calm a little as it passes you...
Get some shots of the surf!
It's gone and I didn't get a picture. Sorry. But the surf wasn't all that bad....at least it wasn't, when Cliff and I went down to the beach late yesterday evening. We just got a steady rain all day. The wind wasn't even bad.
DeleteWell...that is a good thing! We had high winds...tons of rain! Happy is my garden!!
DeleteLove, love your gorgeous peonies!
ReplyDeleteWe just had a thunderstorm go through, thankfully no damage to my Flores.
We had one last night too! Love all the rain for the garden!
DeleteLovely photos , I have the Pink peonies to but they haven't bloomed yet as the weather has been cooler here for a few days , but it has been lovely warm sun and cool breezes great for all my gardening and yard work or just puttering about , I to have had the windows open so nice to have fresh air through the house . You get used to having the little ones around and have fun with them and it is so hard when they have to go home, but you will see her again soon . Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteYes...mine at the cottage are still tight buds...
DeleteThese bushes are facing West, on the back of my house...lots of sun, and heat from the brick!
Loved the windows open...rather cool here today...no sun...
I will see her on Wednesday, for our weekly date!
Look like Peonies to me!

Oh how gorgeous, and how I would love to have pale pink peonies in my garden. I have never even seen them growing in Brisbane - much too hot here, I suspect. Enjoy them, they are Amazing!! So sad re the tears at parting, but nice too - you are a good Grannie.

DeleteEnjoy your evening Amy...
Love your peonies. Ours are blooming and opening so quickly, that they're falling over from the weight. Time to bring some in! Glad you had a great Miss V. stay over. The fitness ladies are now doing outdoor patio coffee, but this morning, it had to be moved indoors because of the big weather change. Have a good week....
ReplyDeleteOh, mine too...I will need to cut some more tomorrow...
DeleteGood to see you are still getting out to fitness...wish I could...I really should make the time...
Your fitness is gardening, cottage living and little Miss V. But it would be fun to giggle with you again at the back of the class. :)
DeleteYes...I do miss our giggles ♥️
DeleteLove the peonies, mine are poppy now due to the rain we've had over the past couple of days. Miss V will have so many wonderful memories of her stays with both of you.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Linda...just what we are hoping for!
DeleteBeautiful, beautiful peonies! I just planted some roots for the first time - they are 3 inches tall....guess I won't be getting any blooms this year so I will just enjoy yours! So wonderful that you got to spend some sweet time with little Miss V. Memories you both will always treasure. xo Karen
