Hope you are all having a great week...
Just a few of the blooms in the gardens at the cottage and here at home...
I am really happy with my wee tomatoes and the ever growing green beans!
I hope everything at the cottage is not shrivelled with this intense dry heat...
I am off to get Miss V...looks like an afternoon in the pool!
Have a great day everyone...
Cheers! :o)
linda ♥️

DeleteStayed in the pool!
Yup, it's a hot one. I love your flower pictures and am envious that you have beans already! Have a wonderful day in the pool. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteFirst time with the beans...very excited!
DeleteBeautiful blooms! And look at your veggies! Yay! Mine are coming along, too...so exciting.
ReplyDeleteWe need rain, though! Our grass is turning brown! Boo! Maybe a shower tonight.
OH man...we need rain....LOTS of rain!
DeleteYou can have some of our's . . . lol
DeleteSend it over
DeleteYou are having intense dry heat and we are having intense wet cold! Our garden is doing terrible. A friend of our ripped out her tomato plants this morning because they are doing so poorly. I think that is a bit premature but it tells you what the weather here is like.
ReplyDeleteWe are so dry...lots of stuff shrivelling.... :o/
DeleteLast night My Rare One and I picked the first red little Romas off her tomato plants!
ReplyDeleteFresh picked tomatoes are THE best!
DeleteJust popped in after a long absence! Lovely, lovely pictures of the flowers! Enjoy your afternoon with the scrumptious Miss V!
ReplyDeleteThanks Devon!
DeleteLovely flowers as always. And you have tomatoes! I am still waiting for the first buds on mine. The heat is not their friend. I lost one plant. One is quite stunted and the other is doing its best to hang on.
ReplyDeleteYup...tomatoes! Perhaps there will be a few ripe ones this weekend!
DeleteBeautiful . . . well looked after and lovely photos . . perhaps you should have been named Fleur . . . :)
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely evening . . . :)
Hi Eddie....
DeleteThat would be different,eh?
Enjoy your weekend...we are off to the cottage in the morning...
Nice that you and Miss cutie pie spent the day in the pool. Love your green beans and tomatoes and of course the lovely flowers. Ended up with a nasty cold after the festivities in NY, probably caught it from my BF who ended up too sick with bronchitis to travel there with me, boo, hoo. Taking it easy, recuperation time. Have a nice rest of the week, LSK. :)
ReplyDeleteOH dear...summer colds are the worst!
DeleteHope you and boyfriend are better real soon...have some chicken soup!
Thanks for the good wishes and the soup reminder! Have fun at the cottage. :)
DeleteGet well!!
DeleteSo many pretty flowers and veggies! You definitely have a green thumb! We've had a lack of rain til today...but of course, it was rain with severe winds. Can't win!
ReplyDeleteHave a great time away! :-D
Jane
Rain here overnite...still dark and gloomy...and still HOT!!
DeleteThe only heat I like is an intense dry heat. But I'm no flower, Linda ;)
ReplyDeleteHI Blue...
DeleteNo shrinking Violet are you!!
Have a great weekend!!
Flower Power!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots and such a variety. Wow.
Heat is insane... and I'm moving and packing in it. Ack.
Hope you survived!
DeleteNo rain at the cottage!
Lovely photos . We had a storm this way last night with lots of rain and it brought a cool front with it for the day and cooler winds off of the lake . I hope the rain went that way towards your cottage and gave your gardens a nice drink . Sounds like fun in the pool . I remember those days pooling it in the heat now I just stay in the shade under the patio porch with a fan lol ! Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteNot a drop down there.....
Deletethe flowers always look to me like they're lit from within!
ReplyDeletebut
i'm a sky watcher. day or night.
and my favorite of all is watching a storm moving in or over.
and your shots in the last post are breathtakingly beautiful!
AND
I cannot believe the most beautiful baby in the world will soon be FOUR!
it just can't be possible. where has the time gone???
XO♥
HI Tammy!
DeleteYup....4 on Tuesday...can hardly believe it myself!
God was thinking of us when he created flowers. He must look down and smile at how you care for them. I've had a motto for years..." I buy flowers, and if there is any money left over, I pay the rent and buy groceries".....I was never late on rent and gone hungry....get the motto has worked for me.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great motto Wanda!
DeleteLoving your "flower looks". . .
ReplyDeleteFresh, vibrant, healthy, strong, beautiful!
What is the pretty white flower, several little dangling gems . . .
That would be the Yucca! Pretty flowers,eh?
