What A Weekend!!!!!!

Sometimes plans get re-arranged...

Friday was the holiday...but...very high winds and rain changed things...

Saturday was a much better option for everyone...

Just look at that sky!!!

Miss V headed for the beach...and she spent a long time collecting "SPARKLY" rocks...

She lined them all up on the beach deck...

And....gave everyone a special one each ♥️

You see we have ANOTHER log on the beach...it washed up on Friday...

I got my Son and SIL to drag it up to the wall...

I wanted to keep this one!! hahaha!

You can see in the top picture...a log is wedged in there...

No way we could move that one...sooooo heavy...

The hammock got a real work out that day...I laughed so hard!!!

My son was swinging us really high...YIKES!!

SIL Jeff worked with boyfriend to install another canopy umbrella on the deck...

The more shade the better!! Although...it was too windy to put any up that day!

Miss V had a ball with the bubbles that Auntie Lissa and Uncle Jeff brought her!!

And...

We played Horse Shoes and Ring Toss!!

Nana was pooped!!

As the sun moved West...so did we!!

I love that about our property...lots of spots to enjoy the sun...or the shade...and to get shelter from the crazy winds on this Great Lake...

Dinner on the sunporch...my favorite thing!!

Tomatoes with Bocconcini cheese...olive oil and fresh basil..

2 Gluten free Lasagnas...Veggie and Meat...

Fresh crusty bread...but not for everyone!!! Lissa suffers from Celiac...thus the gluten free lasagna!!

To be honest...I cannot tell the difference...except in the $ of the noodles!

Hopefully they will find a cure for this horrible disease...:o(

After dinner...

It was time for Miss V and her sparklers!!!

First time for her!

She was thrilled!!

No fireworks, as too windy!

Perhaps on the next long weekend on August 1!!!!

At the end of the day....

                                 Just look at that sunset.............

Thanks for hanging in for such a long post!!

And...I have tons of flower pics to share!!

Jsut getting ready to go and pick up Miss V for the day...as we are heading back to the cottage on Wednesday....having friends out on Thursday...very excited!

The weather is back to the humidity...

Heat warning in effect for Toronto and surrounding areas...

Miss V and I have a few errands to run...

And then we will be spending the afternoon in the pool!!!

                                     YIPPEEEEEEE!!!!

Hope you all had a wonderful long weekend...

Enjoy the rest of your week...not sure if I will be back here with another post before we leave...

Getting harder to post in these summer months, eh??

IG is sooooo quick and easy...and I get to share photos over there...

If you are on IG, look me up...send me a request!!

                    Enjoy your day my friends...

                            Cheers!

                                linda ♥️

Both logs are heavy...it took a small village to move the one I wanted to keep!

  15. Best ever holiday weekend here in a long, long time.
    Glorious weather . . .
Hot and humid moved in today . . . steamy and thankful for air conditioning . . .
Loved Miss V's "rock collection border!"
Reminded me of the rock sculpture I have on the porch that "my littles" made when they were Miss V's age. Those "littles" are now 18-26 . . . Wonderful memories you are making each visit to the cottage . . . Happy days my friend!

We have a heat wave coming, too. How ironic---we are miles and miles apart!

What a great pic of you two in the hammock; you must get so much joy from your cute granddaughter. The pink sunset is beyond gorgeous.
