Bits & Bobs......

I am sure you must all be wondering....

"What has Linda been up to lately?"

"We know that she attended that beautiful wedding....but other than that...not quite sure what she has been up to!"

Well....I am back...and I am here to share what I have been up BEFORE and AFTER that fabulous event...

The above was one of the table arrangements I was lucky enough to bring home...still looks great...nearly 2 weeks later...I am going to try and root the succulents, and with the container, make my son a succulent arrangement in the New Year...he LOVES succulents!!  {Who can blame him?}

The infamous toes were given a darker look for the wedding...
Not my cup of tea...will need to get them brightened up soon!!
I have been working on my Granny Square Afghan as well...
Coming along nicely...

Of course we have been at the cottage a lot, as well...
Even during the week...when the weather is nice...so peaceful...
Lots of green still down there...we visited to day...20*c!!!
Unbelievable for November 1st!

Oh.....by the way....Happy November Everyone!!!

I have also been grocery shopping...

Made Chicken Fajitas one night....OH SO GOOD!!!

Been baking a bit as well...Not just a pretty face you know! hahaha!!!

Brought in a few friends for the Winter...
I always bring my Hens & Chicks in...mainly because I don't want my vintage containers to crack with the cold weather...I also love to enjoy them inside...
This Geranium is special...love the mottled leaves...I will see if she survives...

Last of the Limelight Hydrangeas in a vase....beautiful!!

The Ducks at the cottage have been very entertaining this Fall...

I captured a wee bit of colour here at home...

Can you spy Miss V behind all those colourful Mums???

She just loves my local Greenhouse... aka "Flower Store"...💓💓💓

We have seen her a few times in the last few weeks...

Just look at the sweet face!!!!  💕💕💕

She was here on Sunday for the day...we had so much fun...but...I do have to save something for another post....right????

Hope you are all well...and enjoying this gorgeous weather....

Still flying high from the wedding...such fun!!

Thanks so much for all of your wonderful comments...much appreciated...

As I have said many times...

                ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I HAVE THE BEST PEEPS.........EVER!!!!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

                Cheers!   :o)

  7. Your photos are extraordinary, Linda! The ducks in flight, the mums with little Miss V popping up, and of course her close up which I saw on IG. She's so beautiful!

I need to know what you do with all of that bakery! I made cupcakes the other day and I dare not touch them...seriously, I need to drop many pounds to get my back in good shape. Hubby is good for the first few and then he tires of them I give a lot away. How is it with you?

We are warm here, too. Loving it. I hope we have it through the weekend, I need some long walks in between opening boxes at the lake. Come help!!! ;-D

  12. You are always a busy lady. The weather has been gorgeous the past couple of days so it has been raking and bagging leaves while it is dry. Several crochet projects are on the go and I've been finding some cute knitting patterns for 18 inch dolls (granddaughter loves them).

  13. Lovely photos Linda! Especially the one of Miss V up close and of her in the flowers. So cute! That geranium is an interesting looking one with the different leaves and blooms. I didn't save a thing - tossed them in the field behind us. Maybe they'll bloom there. Haha. Dark and dreary and drizzly here today. May be sun tomorrow for a couple hours. I hope!

  21. I like the mild temps, but it just feels so wrong. I wish the weather would settle into summer or fall properly! Your baking looks delicious, and it looks like you're baking for a big crowd. I can never decide what to do with my succulents. I see a few people in the neighbourhood have them growing on big boulders and they seem to survive the winter. I think the squirrels get into mine and uproot them in winter :[ But when I brought them in last winter they didn't do well at all. This year I figured I'll leave them out, but now you say you bring yours in! How do you treat them in winter indoors? I bring my two favourite geraniums in for winter, but they go into shock for the first couple of weeks (turning yellow now). I'll give them some fertilizer and hope they recover quickly.
Such a sweet photo of Miss V.

    1. Because I bring the whole pot in...I think they do better. Water sparingly, and I have them in the sunniest spot possible...I don't want my planters to crack over the winter...I know some people have them in the ground and they do great...I did not have luck that way...
My Geraniums are acting finicky as well...sometimes they do great...sometimes not!
I have a few at the cottage that I will box up and bring home this weekend...
