Lucky you not getting any snow, we got plenty, enough to cancel all the school buses. Your baking sounds delicious. It was cinnamon swirl loaf at our house.
ReplyDeleteYummy...cinnamon swirl loaf...
DeleteCute photos, Linda. I like the little bits of photo-shop. V is such a cutie. We are having quite the snow-storm the last two days. And the wind is ridiculous. Just a reminder of what is in store for the next few months. No baking here today. I'm doing Christmas cards. :) Deb
ReplyDeleteShe is getting so big!!
DeleteI see that on the news, that you got a lot....and at the Football game!
That sounds like a great idea...I just finished cleaning the fridge...ugh!

DeleteGlad you had your little baker with you and she is sleeping over with you soon.
ReplyDeleteThe weather here is simply dreadful. There is so much rain in so short a times frame the drains cannot cope and water is cascading down roads. Quite eirie really. Will do a post on it but I have posted something which will make you belly laugh . . . lol
Cheers
Eddie . . :)
HI Eddie..
DeleteSorry to hear about your weather...hope you dry out soon!

Lovely photos Linda..Miss V is looking quite the grown up little lady! We have had a sudden weather change here too....from lighting fires last week to a very hot 28 C yesterday...your cake sounds delicious, we made pancakes with our little ones for breakfast on Sunday...little Miss G very keen to help...Mister T decided he would just rather wait and eat them!!! Fun times....XXX
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great weekend Sue...
DeleteI like your photos here, Linda. We got a little snow, but mostly it was cold and blowy. Such an adorable little baker you have! -Jenn
ReplyDeleteThanks Wendy...I had some fun with them! She loves baking!
DeleteYou have a cute little baker there. She is so intense when she bakes. It has gotten really cold here too (1*C) and the winds are just whipping things around outside. So I also baked. I made peanut butter cookies and I am about to make an apple pie before my apples go bad. Hope you have a good week.
ReplyDeleteShe takes it very seriously....wants to do a good job!
DeleteCrazy winds today...not sure when it will stop!
Love apple pie....
Baking is a great way to pass the time on a cold day. Eating it is even better!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely!
DeleteWe're cold and windy with just a slight amount of snow flurries.... just a swirl of flakes that didn't amount to anything. Still kind of fun to see. Seems a bit early to me, though! haha.
ReplyDeleteBreakfast cake looks yummy...and so fun to make with your little helper!
She SO enjoys making cakes!! We will be busy again this Friday!!
DeleteWhat lovely pictures, with the little snow flakes Linda. That blueberry cake looks so good, and little Miss V is turning into a star baker these days. How she is growing up!

DeleteHello Linda, I've been following you on Instagram and just noticed today you also blog. Sopping in to check it out your granddaughter is a cutie. I also have a blog but I've kind of negelected it past couple years. I did post this week on my blog who knows maybe I'll get back into it. Do you live in Ohio?
ReplyDeleteWelcome!
DeleteNo...I live in Southern Ontario Canada! You?
I always love your little Miss V. baking photos, so sweet. Just baked chocolate chip cookies for my next visit with my big grandkids. They never outgrow home made baking! We shopped at Costco this afternoon and because of your recommendation, bought a yummy BBQ chicken. See how helpful you are? :) Fun to see you at fitness this morning, have a good week.
ReplyDeleteI am sure they will love your cookies...nice Gramma❣
DeleteThose chickens are fabulous...they do us 3 meals! Enjoy!
Nice seeing you too Hester...
Oh, Linda, are you envious of the rest of us getting piles of snow? I could send you some of ours in case you're feeling left out ;) Plenty to go around!
ReplyDeleteThat is the cutest baker! She's getting to be a big girl. My goodness how time flies!
No thanks...you can keep it Martha! hahaha!
DeleteShe is certainly growing up...and such a nice girl too 💚
