A Few Pretties For You.....And Stormy Skies....

Hello everyone....hope you are all well....

Today is kinda stormy....kinda sunny....kinda rough....kinda windy....

A real mixed bag!

You may remember, from previous years here at the beach cottage, that I was fortunate enough to have many beautiful Hibiscus shrubs, and other assorted flowering shrubs, on one side of the cottage.

Unfortunately, that small condo unit, was struck by lightning last Fall, caught fire, and unfortunately had to be levelled! We had stayed there one year, and quite enjoyed it...it even had a cute small pool!

Needless to say, the Hibiscus is not what it once was...😕...but....low and behold...
This morning...I spied 3 thru the window! 😊
One was within reach, so in she came with me...along with 2 pretty blue flowers!

They are such a nice addition to the cottage...and...along with my Valentines /Birthday flowers...they are brightening up this rather crazy day!

We will be heading out to a few stores this afternoon....TJMAXX....MARSHALLS...YIPPEE!
If I am lucky....maybe even Michaels or Joanne's!
I would love to compare the yarn prices here...against our Canadian prices....🤔

Have a wonderful day....

Oh...by the way....I started a new afghan last night...very squishy and colourful!

                       Cheers!  :o)

  1. It's always nice to have a pop of colour in fresh flowers no matter where one is. I like the last photo of the aqua glass starfish dish filled with shells. I hope you're having a lovely time and found some bargains while shopping. Hugs. Pam

  2. I would enjoy watching a storm come in off the ocean :) As long as you are safe and snug indoors of course. The flowers are beautiful and a nice contrast to the gloomy day. Enjoy your shopping spree!

  11. I've been missing in bogland for a week or so, hubby had surgery (went well, no complications) but my time has been spent with him. So I've been catching up on your latest posts. Love the photos from the beach and all the treasure.. The flowers are gorgeous and make a great addition to the place you are staying. It's pouring of rain here today (Saturday) but the temperatures have been above zero for several days, so all the snow is just about gone. Enjoy the weekend.
