Cottage Drives....My Love Of Barns ♥️














We pass by so many beautiful farms on our drives to the cottage...

I am forever taking pics thru the windows!!

Some come out great...some not so great!!

But the best is when we finally reach our destination...

And this gorgeous wee place greets us...

So beautiful....any season of the year...how lucky are we to have her!!!




And...as we are leaving...this view at the point, is another that I love...

Everchanging...always stunning...love it!!

          Hope you are all well...

We are having torrential rain today...and gusty winds...YUCK!!

I need to go out, and would def rather not...but...I need to!!

We had a very enjoyable weekend...

Had our Miss V for a sleepover and a visit with her sweet cousin Miss N...

She was so excited to hold her...and kiss her...and rub her little head!!!

I will share a few pics later in the week...

Time for our trip is getting closer...Hope the weather improves!!

But...at least we will be outside...instead of cooped up in here...geesh!!!

      I find it challenging yo photograph while driving...not me, boyfriend! Hahaha! Dirty windshields are my least favorite!

    Your pictures of the barns and countryside are beautiful, Linda. I'm adding some artwork to the lakehouse (finally), and one of the framed prints I ordered is of an old barn. We are surrounded by beautiful fields of wheat, corn, beans, etc., white farmhouses, and the mostly red barns. I, too, love those drives!

    What sort of plans do you have for Florida? I know you must be very excited! Loving your IG shots of your little bebes!

    What fabulous barn photos Linda. As you know, I love them too, but need much more practice in doing in from the car window - yours are wonderfully level! Many of mine were on the tilt. Yum to the dinner :)

      I know you love the barns Patricia! I love the challenge of getting a good pic thru the window!
      When I see horses, I actually roll the window down...hoping boyfriend will slow down! Hahaha!

    Geat barn pics!! Beautiful actually! Funny I just emailed you about sunny places;)

    I don't mind being cooped up..I must be getting old..I enjoy the break from the gardens.
    I do..I get to read..play w/ crafts and paint..no guilt lol.
    When it's nice I feel I must be out;)
    Horrid weather right now..a curtain of snow..for a couple of hours..now turning to rain..then freezing rain..
    Start the car you guys;)

      You are such a creative person Monique...you always find the silver lining!
      I am sure you have several beautiful watercolours by now....
      I am pretty good inside....always find something to tidy....clear out.....you know the routine.
      It will be good for my boyfriend to get ....he is not as easily occupied😳...hahaha!

    Isn't it wonderful driving through the countryside and seeing all the farms! We enjoy that too, and there's a big difference between further south and up here.

    Beautiful photos! I do the same thing -- take pictures out of the car window as I go by. So nice to see rural Canada. I hope to see it in person some day. Take care and have fun with your two precious girls.

    Wonderful countryside - love all those gorgeous barns! The green one is my fave. Wonderful to pull up to your very own little heaven on earth.     Yes, you definitely take wonderful photos. I like the horses as well as the barns. Nice that you spent time with little Miss V and Miss N. My three grand daughters were together here a couple of weeks ago, so nice to have a photo of all three cuddling. Have a nice weekend and take care.

    I adore barns and often have barn photos as my screensaver. I love decrepit ones, too.
    That pic of your cottage is glorious. I'd never want to leave!
