Miss V was sooooo thrilled to hold and hug Miss N π
We visited her at home, and really had a nice time....
Grilled cheese and cheesies for lunch!
Unfortunately.....I have been struck by the deadly bug, and have not been well for nearly a week now...
I have kept myself busy crocheting....
The Bunny hat I was making, turned out to be waaaay too big for wee Miss N...so I got busy on a much smaller hat for her...I really like the way it turned out!
Hope fully it will fit her....we will see her again this coming weekend....(praying for a full recovery by then).... Boyfriend and I are seeing the Dr tomorrow....he succumbed to this bug on Saturday....I believe there will be antibiotics involved!
And I got started on a Granny Square blanket for a Birthday present later in the year....
I am afraid to report that the Campfire Cardigan just did not work for me....
I added a few rows of border, but did not like the results....:o(
I have seen a few on IG, but I don't know how they got the sleeves trimmed down.
Mine were waaaay too wide...oh well....you win some....you lose some!
So.....that's it for me....
As usual....I can't figure out how to actually add some words at the bottom of my post!
Hope you are all well....
See you soon....
Cheers! :o)

I love those washcloths. I have a few that have been given to me. (Can't crochet at all!) Sorry you're under the weather. There have been some nasty viruses this year. Sweet little granddaughters. It must be so exciting for Vivian! Take care, Jenn
ReplyDeleteHI Jenn....
DeleteYes indeed...she is thrilled yo have a cousin...
Welcome back!
What a sweet photo of Miss V and Miss N!
ReplyDeleteThanks Debra...we are very lucky π
DeletePrecious cousins, precious memories. Cousins are so special. A few weeks ago we had a "cousins reunion" up in Bakersfield CA. Most of us are in our 60, 70 and beyond...my dearest was the oldest cousin there and he's 80. We laughed and ate, and slept all over the house, and ate, and laughed and even did some Kareoke...too fun. I hope your little cousins will enjoy a lifetime of love and fun.
ReplyDeleteLovely memories Wanda...I never had any cousins :o(
DeleteSweet picture of the two cousins. I hope they will always love each other. Hope you and your husband are feeling better. There is so much sickness going around. I made some dishcloths for my sister and sister-in-law for Christmas. They both loved them. Now I'm working on a couple of scarves for friends' birthdays. Keeping yourself crocheting or knitting is good medicine.
ReplyDeleteYes Kathy...I do find the crochet keeps me occupied...hopefully better soon...
Deletebeautiful photo of Miss Vee and her cousin,, such a lovely moment captured. I'm sorry to hear that you and your fella have a bad bug, it sure is making the rounds,, I hope the doctor can help you so you can get over it quickly! Your projects turned out beautiful! I love the hats, such lovely colors,, you do such beautiful work, take care,,

DeleteOh, how Miss V loves her little cousin, it just shines out of her pretty face. Those two photos are framers! Miss V is looking a very competent cook these days too. Happy crotchet, and I hope you feel much better soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind words Patricia...enjoy the rest of your week....
DeleteSo sorry you and your Boyfriend are under the weather, Linda. Hope you both have a speedy recovery! Your grand girls are so precious! Just too sweet. Love that little hat and can't wait to see her wearing it. Liking that gray afghan, too. ;) I completely "get" the win some lose some on projects. I was hoping the campfire cardigan would be a win... thought it might be a future possibility. I'm still a bit disappointed in the GINORMOUSNESS of my vest. Ha! But, on to other projects... Get better! blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteI will most likely take the sweater to the cottage...don't have the heart to rip it all out....but I am pretty disappointed in it ☹️

Just stopping by your blog and have to say your granddaughters are precious! I became a "Mimi" for the first time 10 months ago and am totally and madly in love! I never knew I wanted to be a grandmother until I became one!
