Seagulls......there and here

Is there a difference between Seagulls by the Ocean and Seagulls on the Great Lakes???



I have taken many pictures of both...but can't seem to see any difference...


Perhaps the beach seagulls are less scared of humans....they kinda cosy right up to you...to wait out the chance of getting a piece of stale bread!!

They wait.....and wait...and wait

...

They circle endlessly overhead...

and they wait...on those spindly legs and knobby knees

They come so close....are those toes or a tasty treat?

They call all their friends to share in their good fortune..

The seagulls on Lake Erie are much more refined..

Patiently waiting for the dregs of the day...from mouldy bagels..to soggy potato chips...they love it all!!!

           

            Hope you are all keeping warm...this winter has been unbelievably mild so far..
