Very tiny.....suitable for 2.....
We usually pull the table (very heavy) out a bit, to have dinner....
Cosy, huh?
The countertops are pretty cool.....with a glass inlay pattern....and backsplash....
2 large undermount sinks.....fancy taps and sprayer.....and, of course a garburator....
The small dishwasher is located in a big drawer, beside the HUGE fridge....
You can see my berries on the counter......♥️
There is also a chair, for the boyfriend....
TV is inside the cabinet, behind those ornate wooden thingys!
This is the latest crochet project....
Started out as a black scarf......but.....wayyyyy too long....so....
Quick change of plans.......Afghan!
Gonna be an interesting blend of colors......stripes.....whatever tickles my fancy!
I have quite a few balls, of the same size of wool....sooooooo..
We'll see where it takes me!
So far.........I quite like it!
Settled in for the sunset......and......a great black cloud blew in.....right over the sun! Blah!
Got the Greek Salad together......and grilled the burgers on my trusty grill pan....
Sliced up red onion, lettuce and pickles...
We set the outside table on the porch....
Lit some candles......
And we dined "el fresco"....
Superb!
They peddled their butts back to their place just after 8pm....
Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves♥️
**************
Today we got the fog again......hazy......humid.....
Had a morning walk.....just thinkin' of what we'll do this afternoon......
Enjoy your day.......
Cheers! :o)

I like the starting of the new afghan ... and the splash of green is just my colour.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a lovely little cottage to stay in.
It's a sunny but cold day here with quite a bit of wind. Don't think I've accomplished much today .. just a bit of this, a bit of that.
Thanks Linda...I think it will be an interesting piece!
DeleteWe really like the cottage....very comfy....
Sad to think...only 4 days left.....
The cottage looks adorable and I love the colours you're using for the crochet project.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jay♥️. Did you have a good trip?
DeleteLovely to see some of the cottage, it looks very cosy and friendly and a lovely place to have a holiday! Your crochet is looking good too, I like the colours!! xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy.....gonna work on it tonight!
DeleteLove the hint of green. Would have been a cute scarf but we all could use more afghans with this weather.
ReplyDeleteCute cottage!
Thanks for coming by Linda......the cottage is sweet! Love it here ♥️
DeleteThe cottage is really sweet and cozy. I love the colours in your afghan. It will be gorgeous when done. It's very cold here today and the polar vortex is making a return. I hope it goes back where it came from very soon so spring can make it's appearance. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteAre you home already?
DeleteBooked for next year.....yahoo!
This cottage looks beautiful. I think it seems perfect for you two lovebirds. :) The new blanket is going to be pretty, I love that yellow-green against the black and grays.
ReplyDeleteYou mean us old lovebirds? Hahaha!
DeleteIt is perfect for us ♥️
Garburator. I learned a new word. It's good to know these thing when one had Canadian relatives. And here I thought we spoke the same language.
ReplyDeleteThe cottage is very nice. Simple and easy to keep up with. That's what I'd have if I wasn't so busy collecting stuff. ha ha!
Actually the "garburator" is an American thing.....every place we stay in down here has one!
DeleteThe hardest part is keeping the sand under control!
Actually, we call them garbage disposals. It's the word that's new, not the appliance.
Delete(I googled "garburator" and the word is decidedly Canadian.)
PS. I don't have one of those doohickeys. Always wished I did, but I don't
DeleteOkey dokey....thanks for clarifying! Hahah......you crack me up!
DeleteOne thing, though.......
Don't put avacado pits in the garburator......ever........never!
Gotcha. No avocado pits.

wow.
ReplyDeletei do LOVE that afghan scarf. maybe it will turn out to be a poncho! LOL.
it may have a will of its own. it's planning even as we speak! . . . spooky.
that little cottage is so neat. glad you got it for next year too. it will feel like coming home for you.
xoxo
I think it is, Tammy....I can hear it whispering in the crochet bag!
DeleteI think it wants to be an afghan! So be it!
I am glad we got it for next year too♥️
Love the cottage, and of course its setting is glorious.
ReplyDeleteBetter luck sunset seeking today. Or has it happened already? I am hopeless with time zones.
Saw a wee bit of the sunset......we were making rather merry with our friends......at a lovely eatery down the street.......hopefully tomorrow♥️
DeleteWhat a cute cottage. Love the colours and the cushions you have used to decorate the sitting-room. Or maybe it was decorated? Nevertheless, very cute. I'm enjoying all your photos so keep 'em coming. You've used some of my favorite colours for your scarf/afghan. I just finished knitting a scarf in the basket weave stitch which is fun to do. So no dinner? You must be eating out again tonight. haha! Well...enjoy! Deb
ReplyDeleteThanks Deb.....I merely fluff the pillows!
DeleteYes....I am really liking the colors as well....
Had a chicken roasting slowly....but did an impromptu meal out with friends...
Now.....tomorrow is taken care of!♥️
Perfect for two ,and no snow to shovel surpasses perfect!
ReplyDeleteJane x
Soon enough for the snow, Jane.......soon enough....yikes....really soon!
DeleteSuch a cute and cozy place I do like the counter quite different looking isn't it ? Lovely crochet . Sounds like you had another wonderful day and supper sounds delish ! Thanks for sharing . Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteYes....and I think probably very expensive!
DeleteWorking on my crochet tonight!
Just back from our very long trip to LA and Vegas. It never rains in California and my hair was perfect in dry heat:) You may have to change coasts, although it would be a heck of a drive. Home for a rest. Very, very cold in comparison and supposed to get colder this week apparently. I plan to try and keep the vacation vibe going, reading, knitting....ordering in :) Love the look of the little place.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by......get some rest!
DeleteWe'll have a cup of hot tea and compare notes....
The cottage is adorable, and located in a perfect place --- far away from snow and cold!
ReplyDeleteHahaha.......absolutely!
Deletelook beautiful Linda and I love crochet too:)
ReplyDeleteThanks Gloria....I heard that you also crochet? We all know you are an excellent cook♥️
DeleteI love crochet My chilean grand mom teached me many years ago!
