Finally Some Sunshine...but...Still Breezy!!

Last Fridays drive was pretty pleasant!!

There was plenty of sunshine...but still really breezy!

The temps were in the mid teens...very warm for this time of year...

In Fahrenheit that would be in the mid 60's...

As I was looking out the living room window...

Taking this shot of the grasses blowing in the breeze...

I noticed something bobbing up and down in the water...

The waves would come in...and whatever it was...was riding the waves!

As I zoomed in...really close...

I could see that it was a group of Hooded Merganser Ducks!!

Beautiful!

Can you see them?? In the next picture....

After we had our lunch...

Boyfriend took advantage of the warm sunshine...

I poked around taking pics...really windy!!

And I  was busy cleaning up an awesome thrifty buy we got on the way there...

Will show you this week...fantastic!!

After we did the dishes...and tidied up...I looked for my skinny Snowman that I usually hang on the kitchen porch wall...

Could not find him anywhere!!

Found this tiny fridge magnet...with snowmen...and went with this!! hahaha!

Hope you all had a great weekend...

The weather was lousy...but still warm...still dark at 9am!!

Had dinner guests on Saturday night...most delightful...

Old neighbours that moved away 20 years ago...

Love to reminisce about the kids...and lots of parties!!

I cooked a Rack of Lamb that was heavenly...cooked perfectly!!

We are heading out for dinner tonight...

There is a new place that opened in the summer...

Called "Brown's Social House"...they serve a pizza to die for...

I have also had their Burger...excellent...but tonight...PIZZA!

Got some wrapping done today...did my cards yesterday...

I guess I am in pretty good shape...no baking yet...

But I do that closer to Christmas...

I am laughing! hahaha! Still need to get the boyfriend something....hmmmm

Have a great evening...

                  Cheers!  :o)

    2. Yes. I traditionally spend Christmas Eve with some very close friends and then Christmas Day with Mom and Dad and then sometimes off to another dinner with friends. Do you have everyone on Christmas Day?

  10. It looks beautiful at the cottage on the weekend! We had quite mild temps here too - between 10 and 12 - and my friend and I even enjoyed our chicken souvlaki at the market outside on a picnic table!! Tonight - miserable ice pellets and now freezing drizzle. Love the snowmen. Have a super week Linda! xo Pam
