Freaky Friday Clouds...

We were lucky enough to spend 2 days at the cottage...

Thursday was absolutely perfect...

Slight breeze.....falling leaves...lots of chick-a-dees...ducks galore...

Temps rose into the high 20's....27 to be exact!!!!

Lovely day...firepit after dinner...luxury!!!

Friday morning was a wee bit cooler...19degrees...breezy...but still fantastic...

Cleaned off the sunporch, in ready for the repair work ahead..

Raked some leaves....

Took pictures...

Suddenly I noticed some cloudiness....and something ominous to the West...

And....that was the end of the sun for Friday...around 1pm, the clouds arrived..

No rain.......until overnite....

Awoke to torrential rain....hideous drive home...

But....there were still things blooming...will share that later...

Enjoy your evening...hopefully Sandy will find another course...

                             Cheers!   :o)

  1. The rain has arrived here too, along with dark clouds. I wonder what the next few days will bring... Probably some indoor activities and long afternoon naps.

  3. When those clouds roll in the weather sure does change. The rain started here late Friday night and it still continues. The grandkids came to play yesterday, this morning is swimming lessons and then we will be in for the rest of the afternoon. I've got a few knitting projects on the go and a new baby afghan to start. We just found out that grandbaby 4 is a little girl. How exciting.

  5. Very moody skies there Linda, today we had hailstones galore and the roads were white over in the space of a few minutes, didn't last long but very scary whilst driving home. Took my breath away how quickly the weather changed. We were basking in sunshine minutes before. Love the lake photography!
