Saturday At The Lake.....

It was an odd weekend weather-wise...

Friday, we drove thru sun all the way to the Lake, and then the clouds rolled in.

We managed a lovely sunset for about an hour...lovely and warm...

Saturday, pictured here... was a different story...sunny in the morning...and cloudy throughout the afternoon and early evening..

And they were dark, scary clouds...as you can see across the Lake...

The Lake was very calm...and the water is at one of it's all time lows, for Lake Erie...

As the day progressed...it got brighter...

And the wind died down....

We had our favorite little visitor...our neighbour Brad's sweet granddaughter Peyton...she is hilarious...I found her a container, and she was collecting shells and odd stones from our beach, as her "Grampie" doesn't have a beach this year, due to the levels...

We had a great time swimming with her in the summer as well...really a cute little character...  :o)

And we were able to have a fire pit on the deck...and watch the Full Moon rise from the east...

There were rumbles of thunder and lightning across the Lake, and we had a shower overnite...

Unfortunately.......my new camera battery went dead shortly after these pics on Saturday....we thought the batteries from my old camera would fit...as I have 2 and a charger.....but we were wrong...so.......these were the last pics from the cottage weekend......

But.......I did get some plant pics on Friday at sunset...as there was lots of sun for about an hour...will post to-morrow....

Hope you all had a good weekend...

                              Lovely day today.....

                                      Cheers!   :o)
