Yesterday At The Lake.......

 We took a drive yesterday...

What a beautiful sunny day it was...

We had lunch in Port...

Hit the Thrift Shops...

It was a balmy 15 degrees celsius...

Just a perfect day....

AS we made our way along the Lake, to the cottage...the clouds rolled in...

When we got there....

The sun had disappeared...

A fog was rolling in...

Still 15 degrees....

And that rock is STILL holding up the concrete slab!!

There were footprints in the sand...so I asked "who was here?"

There are always interesting rocks...different every time...I always try to pick them up...but usually WAY too deep...

My eagle-eyed boyfriend actually found this tiny piece of beach glass...I took a photo bedside my sunglasses to show how wee it is...

Good old Mums.....still blooming!!!   :o)

As you can see behind me...the fog was getting pretty thick...but so still and calm...
We were just getting into the car...when the sun broke out...one last shot of glory...I grabbed my camera and went back down to the beach...

As I always do..when I am closing the gate...I look at the cottage...and I say..."see you next time"...and I always hope the "next time" won't be too far away...  :o)

Hope you all had a great day...

I got quite a bit accomplished....

Fitness....groceries...made chicken soup...got the lights on the tree..

Washed and folded 2 loads of laundry...

Even had a visit from Vivian....very short, tho'...

Ocean Perch, Fries and Beets are on the menu tonight...

What did you get done today...

Were you busy as a bee??!!

Enjoy your evening...more crocheting for me...

                                  Cheers!  :o)

  2. I love your cottage pictures once again. It was nearly 70º F here this afternoon. In a "normal" year, Lake Erie would be ready to freeze over. I'm betting there are still sunbathers out there instead. ;)

    1. Thanks Martha...the water is also really low, as you can see in the pics...
If we get a storm it will be severe on the beach...better when the Lake is frozen...I miss staying there...:o(

  3. Beautiful photos Linda and I love the sunburst ones. Your header is beautiful too! We went to town and I got some foggy pics too. And I made chicken soup when we got home! I just don't have a cottage. And no late blooms. :)
