We could not get into the driveway...
As the snow plough pushed a big pile in front....
Our gate swings inwards...so we could get in ok...
Doesn't it just look awesome with no prints anywhere....
Other than natures little creatures....rabbits, squirrels etc...
The wind must have been howling from the North...
There was a lot of drifting snow....
My boyfriend had to sweep his way in!!!!
It was a cloudy day...
So no beautiful sparkly snow....
Perhaps next trip....
I have more pictures...
BUt I will save them for another post...
Enjoy the stroll thru the fresh crisp snow...
Hope you all had a good day...
Did some grocery shopping....yuck..
BUt then we watched Vivian for a few hours this afternoon...
Hadn't seen her since CHristmas...
She was even cuter than I remembered.... :o)

ReplyDeleteThanks Bev...Hope you had a good Christmas...
DeleteIt's finally winter!
ReplyDeleteI went grocery shopping too. Had my camera along but the day was rather gray for pictures. Either way the snow is beautiful no matter which side of whatever lakes we may be on.
Yes, Martha...it is finally winter...
DeleteNice and sunny today...had a mid-day walk...
Now I am going to change our sheets..
Pretty glamorous, eh??
There is something so beautiful about fresh snow that is untouched. Your photos are lovely!!!
ReplyDeletexo Kris
Thanks Chris...it is full of footprints now!!!
DeleteMother Nature sure gives us wonderful photo opportunities in the winter. Love the untouched look in your photos. After about 5 cm of snow yesterday it is sunny but C-O-L-D today. We will tackle the snow clearing.
ReplyDeleteSunny here...not TOO cold...bit windy...
DeleteParadise, springs to mind Linda, perfect pad for relaxing by the fire, I love to see all the wildlife that visits your home, a very special place for truly special family. Still no snow here in the UK, very disappointing for the children but great for me at the allotment. We watch in admiration at your snow covered blog!
ReplyDeleteI only wish we could have a fire, there....
DeleteWe turned the water off on Thursday, as the temps had been below zero for a few nights...:o(
No New Years Eve at the cottage this year..
Guess I'll have to dance with my boyfriend here at home!!!
What is going on at the allotment??? Anything planted, yet??
I love your pictures Linda. It looks really beautiful there. We are getting another snowstorm here today. It's pretty bad and now the wind is blowing it all over. It's nice to be in the house and cozy. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou guys are really getting pounded down there...
DeleteSnuggle up...and have a cup of tea!!!
Lovely snow! I remember saying to Taylor when he was little..."Could you just play in the back so the snow stays pretty in the front yard?" haha. I'm enjoying our white stuff, too. Today we finally have sun and it's so bright I want to put my sunglasses on in the kitchen. :)
ReplyDeleteIt was sunny this morning...
DeleteNow it looks like more snow!!!
Wow looks like here..... Thought it was never going to stop.
ReplyDeleteStayed in made turkey pot casserole with biscuits. Just the two of us.
Today I started tackling the tree.... Done.... Now to start on the rest of the house.
Maybe tomorrow......
Making that tonight!!!
DeleteMaybe is right!!!!!
