This basket was from one of my daughters...
It has a flat side...
I thought...
How perfect...
To hang...
On..
One of my big trees...
At the cottage....
I think...
It looks...
Spectacular...
Any thoughts?

Hopefully...
The Vine will get HUGE...
The Cosmos will FLOWER...
And the Begonia will only get more BEAUTIFUL!!!
Speaking of beautiful....:o)

The basket looks so pretty, Linda. That was a great idea for a way to use it. That little girl looks so patriotic in her outfit! I hope you had a nice holiday.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jennifer...we did have a great weekend!
DeleteLOVE the basket idea; I have a few places that would work. The "wee one" looks adorable in her Blue Jays outfit ... same colors as the Chicago Cubs, I might add ... just sayin ..... LOL Linda
ReplyDeleteHa!
DeleteShe look s cute in just about everything!!
I was all set to comment on the basket but then! There is Vivian! How scrumptious!
ReplyDeleteThanks Birdie....but do tell...what did you think of the basket?
DeleteLove your header photo ! Oh what a cutie pie ! Love the basket ! Thanks for sharing . Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteGlad you came! Looks like you loved everything!! haha! thanks!
DeleteThe basket is sweet and perfect on a tree in the shade. Angel wing begonias are beautiful and get nice and big too. Vivian is adorable as always. I love your new header photo!
ReplyDeleteI like the header as well...been working on a few new ones...I find it very difficult to get the right size!!! I am such a dummy sometimes!
DeleteYour basket looks great. I used to do baskets of plants but after a few years the baskets were showing weather fatigue. It seems every time I go out the garden something else has popped open or needs snipping down (daisies are starting to seed) or those darn weeds have popped up again. Had a busy day with the grandkids so didn't get much time outside.
ReplyDeleteI take them in in the winter, after emptying them...
DeleteThat is why I look for baskets at the thrift shops during the winter...
A good spray paint works wonders as well!!
My daisies are just opening!!! You are ahead of me!
Glad you spent time with the kiddies...nothing else like it!
My shasta daisies are just opening, the oxeye daisies are just finishing.
DeleteI took my baskets inside as well, but had never used spray paint on them. I'll be on the lookout for more to try with your method.
Happy belated Canada day, Linda!
