Fabulous Flowery Friday....and a few feet!!!!

After our chores were done...

We assembled on the deck...

Out of the scorching sun...

And blustery S/W wind...

It was fabulous...

Apparently...

We missed...

A...

HUGE rain storm...

At home...

HA HA HA!

Sorry I missed that...[yeah,right...I sure am sorry I missed that!!}

One of the many Yuccas is now in full flower...

Aren't they pretty?

Our little friend...

Peyton...

Came for a visit...

And a dance...

And...

A song....:o)

So cute!!

You can see...

My lazy A** is still in the lounger!!

Just a wee taste...

Of the many...

Day-lilies in bloom...

"Orange" they lovely!

Sweet Peas making their first appearance this year...

Awesome......aren't they?

And...

The first of many...

Hollyhocks...

Another favorite of mine!

Check out the Lady Bug!

White Yarrow just starting to open up...

The White lilies are wonderful...

I actually cut these and brought them home for a vase...

They would be gone by next weekend...so why not enjoy them!

A few white Cleomes are just opening up...

Love these annuals...

This Hydrangea bush has really grown this year...

Must be all the rain!

Cut a few for the kitchen porch...

Same hobnail vase as here at home!

Hope you all had a great weekend...

We sure did...once we GOT there!!

More pics to come....and....no...there will not be any of my feet!!! hahaha!

Tomorrow is my daughters first day back  at work, since having Vivian...

All the best, Erika....we will see Vivian at 6:45am!!!

Grampa and I are ready!

On the menu tonight...

                sauteed mushroom,onions and peppers...

                      Long grain wild rice..

  3. Your flowers are just stunning and you have so many different kinds! You are a master gardener. I love the ladybug! Best wishes to your daughter; it's a big change but I am sure they will do fine.

  5. My sweet peas didn't do well this year, just a few green sprouts and that is all. Better get some fresh seed for next year. Lots blooming, it is hard to keep up with it all now. It will be a hard day for your daughter returning to work. At least Vivian will be happy with you and Grampa. The heat and humidity continues ... yuck.

Little Vivian will now be working on the avoidance of germs. Such is life but good thing....she will have some awesome fun with the other kids and learn all kinds of....good and....bad behaviour. Makes for a well rounded little gal!! Great cottage pics of your lovely surroundings. Enjoy every minute!!
