Last Week Around Here......

We arrived home on Saturday afternoon, as the humidity was building again...and was going to feel like 40*c!!! We had had enough of the heat...and welcomed the thought of relaxing in the a/c here at home..

Last week I switched up Miss V's room..brought her kitchen up from the recroom...she was thrilled...and immediately got some cupcakes in the oven for me and her Papa!
I even got her to try on her sweater that I am crocheting for her...It has some gathering at the back skirt...love this..sleeves get added to the tiny cap sleeves...she said she especially liked the sleeves! hahaha! I should be finished soon....

After lunch...we went with her Papa for him to get some new glasses...she was good as gold waiting...when he decided on a frame...her and I took off to go and visit the "Joe Fresh" section!!! Love their kids clothes...and adults too!
Just before we took off...I slipped this pair on her...too funny!
She exclaimed...."I can see"...we all laughed...even the optometrist thought that was pretty funny!

Next...tried on a few hats ...this was the best one!

Took this at lunch ♥️

Miss V and I got in for a dip after returning home...

She jumped off the stairs by herself this time!!!

Getting more adventurous everytime!

The Moon was gorgeous that night...Wednesday...

We left for the cottage Thursday morning...got a lot of nice pics...the gardens are looking especially good for this time of year...

Hope you are all having a great weekend...

Hot and rainy where you are??????

We are in for a couple of days of cooler weather...and then back to the high humidity for the end of the week...

We have thrown abandon to the wind...and opened the windows! hahaha!

Enjoy your Sunday evening....

                     Cheers!  :o)

                          linda ♥️

Thanks for all your sweet comments on my previous post...

Looks very inviting in the pool.
Love the piccies of little Miss V. She needs a cane to go with the hat and she could give us a song and dance routine . . . maybe singing "Give me the moonlight!" . . . :)
Great to see you back . . :)

    6. But I should learn to proof read first before I send or I might run the risk of getting my face slapped if spellcheck chooses the wrong word. I've had a few narrow squeaks before . . . haha!

  4. We had a beautiful day yesterday, thunder in the distance, but the rain didn't hit us until the party was over. Our kids were here to help their dad clean out the barns and have our first pot of chili for the season. Today was rainy.

  12. It's been a while, love your new header. Little Miss V. looks like a trendy tourist in the cute hat and the glasses are so sweet. Trying to readjust, jet lag, etc. Quite a challenging trip home on Sunday, all explained on FB, of course. :) Take care, so nice to see you and Miss. V. enjoying the pool together.

  15. I always enjoy my time here Linda! Such cute pics. We are having horrid heat here. But hot and dry. Just ugly, with all of the smoke in the air form the many fires. I am staying inside!!!!
Loving the sweater! Can't wait to see it all done!
About my serious collection of both sewing machines and socks....I see it as therapy! The knitting puts me in a ZEN state. And the sock yarns are absolutely fabulous to work with. NOT cheap. But lovely. As for the sewing machines......hey...some gals collect shoes and purses....I collect sewing machines.
