Yesterday...I got to help out with Vivian's bath routine....
Well...not really help...I was probably in the way...as I scrambled for some cute shots...
Look at the cool bath beds they have now...I remember dragging the plastic bathtub...to the bathroom...filling it in the big tub...and walking gingerley back to the change table, to insert the tub.. Sloshing water all the way....What the heck was I thinking???Oh well...new Mom...you know!!
I later used to just fill the plastic tub IN the bathtub, and wash them there!!! DUH!!
Rub-A-Dub-Dub....One Vivian in the tub!!!
After a thorough washing...it was time for a shampoo!!! and a rinse...
Then, into a nice fluffy towel...and off to be dried, oiled and dressed...
While her Mom was out shopping...we got down to some serious giggling...It is true...Grandma DOES give the best hugs!! |
Enough fun Grandma...I am sleepy... |
Off to dreamland sweetie...nice eyelashes!!! |
Hope you all had a great day...
Raining here...but, that's ok...we still need it...
Falling temps...have my first pulled pork
in the slow cooker...
The house smells deeeelicious!!
Cheers! :o)

*****Buddy Update*****
My son sent me this picture of him...still at the vets...
Intervenous antibiotic, and fibre supplements...
Seemed perky....clutching his own little "buddy"
AWWWWWWWWW....
Nothing better than a baby fresh from a soapy bath! Bet Vivian smelled delish! And those are some lovely eyelashes!! Cute onesie. Did you buy it for her?
ReplyDeleteShe smelt lovely..and I love the smell of baby oil..
Deletenope...I didn't buy it...her Mom did!!
Oh my! how sweet is Vivian!!! Staring at those sweet baby pictures makes me wish to do this all over again with my babies. Sigh. They grow up so fast! You're so blessed to have your grandchild to cuddle. I can tell you are so enjoying her.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jean...Am I that obvious!!
ReplyDeleteHer cheeks are so kissable!
ReplyDeleteI used to bathe my kids on the change table because it was easier than reaching into the tub. Now that I think about it I remember giving them baths in the kitchen sink.
My change table...Winnie the Pooh...lifted up, and had a tub underneath...that is what I sued to carry and fill..then I got smart...well,smarter..and started using the big tub...I remember bathing them in the kitchen sink at my Mom's house..ahhh the good 'ol days,eh??
DeleteAwww...I always loved bath time! We always laid the little tub across the kitchen sink. She looks like she loves her bath!
ReplyDeleteI swear I saw a photo move...her sucking on her soother! ha.
Really??? Maybe she knows you think she is precious!!! ha...
Deleteoohhh so sweet!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bev...I must come and visit...
DeleteNothing like a contented squeaky clean baby!
