First And Last........



Remember the First Day Of Summer???

That is when I took these photos...

Seems like yesterday...or last week...or last month...

Gee....I miss it already...[sigh]...

But...onwards and upwards...

Looking forward to some great garden shots over the next months...

Enjoy the First Day Of Summer...

And....I guess the Last....

    It's cool and grey here, too! Most certainly feels like fall! I had to dig some socks out for my cold toes this morning! ha.

    Where did summer go? I seem to remember that awful oppressive heat we had. Today it is damp and chilly. I've almost got the gardening jobs finished and ready for winter. Good bye capris and sleeveless tops, hello sweaters and long pants or skirts.

      I haven't even started with the garden!!! We have to get the pool closed this week, for sure....Yes...soon time to put the capris away...do you remember pedal-pushers??? hahaha...

      At least you got a lot of rain, so everything looked lush and green...by the end of July, everything was pretty shrivelled up over here...but the rain the last few weeks has salvaged some things...The Fall can be soooo beautiful...

    The summer went far to quickly. I don't like the fall and the colder weather and the lack of sunshine and the rain. Give me my summer back!
