ReplyDeletedriving the back roads in search of autumn photo opportunities, walking through crunchy, rustling leaves, sitting round a campfire roasting marshmallows, watching my daughter ride "her" horse...
But, there's a fire in the stove, the house is quiet, I am warm and dry, and sleepy.
I'm thankful to have electricity and running water, a roof over my head, and know that my family member are all safe.

Oh yes! I would like that so much too. It was cloudy and cooler here today and the weekend doesn't look much better now. At least we have beautiful photos of the summer to look back on and enjoy on these dreary wet days. Have a good weekend no matter the weather.
