Some Of My Christmas Decorating....

What a crazy busy weekend I have had...

Babysat Sweetie-Pie last night for a few hours....Good as Gold  :o)

As I write this post, the freezing rain is just starting...

I can hear it hitting the windows...

And the wind is picking up...

Soooo happy that I have a big fat crock-pot full of delicious beefy stew...

And a fresh loaf of bread that I baked this afternoon...

Also got 2 of my banana-blueberry loaves for the freezer...

And that crowd pleaser......Apple Pie Bread....love that one!!

This week for sure....

I HAVE to bake some shortbread...

Most definitely 2 batches....but not the last!!!

ANyway.........the reason I called you all here tonight....

Is...to share a bit of my home decor with you...

This is our family room...with the cosy fire...

And my staircase and hallway...

All decked out.......

Had to show you all the asparagus I made on Friday night....

I added olive oil, ground pepper, sea salt, parmesan cheese and cherry tomatoes....roasted it...

It was heavenly...:o)

  My Tourtierre turned out delicious...

Even had enough for leftovers last night  :o)

As I said before....Beef Stew is on the menu tonight...

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend......

             Busy........Busy........Busy...

Even got outside this morning and added a few more lights to the backyard...Oh yeah...and I finally put my wreath together for the front door....Will share that later....after I take a picture of it...tee hee hee...

            Enjoy your evening...

                  What did you do today???

                                Cheers!      :o)

  2. The house is looking very festive. And it is filled with the wonderful aroma of all your baking. Snow started about 7 pm here and turned to ice rain about 10 pm. The driveways, paths and roads are a bit slick this morning and I woke to the sound of the sander going past about 6:30. It will be melting away as the temperature rises a bit.
