Thrifty Thursday...

When we were on the way to the cottage on Monday...

We stopped at a few of our favorite Thrifty Places...

I found a real diverse bag of stuff this week...

Just what I need...

MORE STUFF!!!!  :o)

But...it is so much fun!!!

This happy snowman is sitting right besode me on my desk...

Love his sweet face...:o)

And when you see what I bought...

You will see why he is smiling...

You may remember that I am a SUCKER for glass jugs...

Well...glass ANYTHING really...

But I really like this very heavy jug....very vintage looking...and such nice heavy thick glass...

I also found an adorable framed needle-point....very difficult to get a good shot of it...the glass gives off quite a glare...I love the "East Coast' theme...It will go with the two paint-by-numbers I bought last Fall...Perfect for the cottage....

Picked up 2 tablecloths...the lime green one will be great for the summer at the cottage...it is not embroidered...but it looks like it is!!!

The other is a Christmas one...love anything vintagey Christmas...

You will not believe your eyes when you scroll to the next "Thrifty" purchase...

I could hardly believe it myself...

The teeny tiniest CHristmas ornament....handmade...with love, for sure...

Wait 'til you see it...

I hope you don't think I am crazy....

BUt ...........for 25 cents....could you have passed it up???

Just for the sheer joy of it!!!!

Go ahead.....

Take a peek...

It is the smalles, cutest little thing...

It even has bird seed in it!!!

Come on now...tell the truth...

Isn't it the funniest thing you have seen lately???

I love when I go up to the cash...

With my treasures...

And they always say..."Look at how cute that is"...

And I'm like...yes...it was on the shelf..

Did you not see it???

Oh well...beauty is in the eye of the beholder....right??

Had a slower pace day today...

Got my cards all put together...

Just need to add the addresses...

Did a little more decorating...

Went for a nice long walk with my boyfriend...in the clean crisp air...

Hope you all had a great day...

Homemade pita bread Pizza and Ceasar Salad on the menu...

                             Cheers!   :o)

  1. You found a lot of great treasures Linda. I love that vintage pitcher! It reminds me of something that Kool Aid would be mixed in back in the day. The snow man is really cute and the table cloths pretty. Someone sure went to a lot of work to make that little bird feeder ornament! Cute.
