Family Saturday.....Happy!!!

Saturday was a fabulous day at the cottage...

All the kids came out....

We started by crawling around inside the cottage, while we got Vivian's lunch ready...

Her Mom had some of my delicious Pasta salad...

Then...

We just hung around the deck...

Hung around the hammock...

Had some snacks...

Chatted...

Laughed...

Giggled....

Had a 40  minute nap...[on Mom's chest...in Granny & Grampas bed]

Walked on the beach...

Went for a short walk...as it was really hot on the road!!!

They all bring their own snacks and drinks...

And don't stay for dinner!!!

HOW perfect is that?!

And this is how happy Granny was!!!

Always thrilled when all the kids come out to see us at the cottage!!!

Hope you all had a great day....

Just as I was about to post this earlier...

THE POWER WENT OUT!!!

It was off for nearly 6 hours...

Apparently too much rain...

Too quickly...

What a crazy Spring and Summer this has been so far...

As I had Vivian today...I took some spaghetti sauce out of the freezer...

When it was time for dinner...we had no power!!!

My handy-dandy boyfriend boiled the water on our brand new...{today}..
BBQ...with a side burner!!!

YAY!!! DINNER!!!

Spent the evening by candlelight...that's ok...I look good by candlelight!  HA!

                                            Cheers!   :o)

  2. How lovely to have all family together at the cottage. We are looking forward to family gatherings in a couple of weeks as daughter & family are coming to Ontario for a visit. It will be wonderful to have all 4 grandkids together.
We had a terrific downpour yesterday afternoon, lasted about half hour and of course it was right at dinner time, so instead of bbq we had something from the oven ... gotta love those M&M meals for those time when something is needed in a hurry.
