Hope you all had a great day....
I went to Fitness...
And then spent 1 1/2 hours in the backyard...
Deadheading...trimming...tidying things up...
You know...the usual things...
Oh yes...and watered...as we have not had any rain!
At least it is less humid today...
With a brisk breeze...
Crazy weather!!
Gonna go out for dinner tonight...
Happy about that!
Enjoy your evening...
Cheers! :o)

You have an amazing view from your deck! If I woke up and got out of bed this is where I'd be heading as well! Beautiful...
ReplyDeleteThanks Aga....I am truly lucky!
DeleteWe had 5 days of rain and 2 days of sun and now it is spitting rain again. I'll send some over. Loved your photos. That yellow...wow! Hey - there's you in the mirror again. You are getting further away all the time. haha! Hope you have a great dinner out. We are heading to the pub. Yah!
ReplyDeleteLove that Begonia....they never fail to wow me!
DeleteI need the rain....bring it on!
Dinner was great...burger and beer!
Loved the yellow Begonias and Tiger Lilies in particular.
ReplyDeleteI see I am just # 3 tonight . . . . . lol
Congratulations on restricting yourself to just 2 pairs of flip flops.
I see the two chairs on the beach you were talking about last night.
Just seen the circumference of Lake Erie is 871 miles and the length of Britain is 874 miles.
Cheers ~ Eddie
Hi Eddie...
DeleteI told you....I have 356 pairs! Plenty to choose from! Hahaha!
Yes....the chairs were still there....we went down this night as well, but didn't want to repeat myself!
Enjoy your evening.....
Amazing 356 pairs of flip flops and just 9 more
DeleteWould be a pair a day for a year, that's for sure.
Tell me where on earth do you store them all ?
And it must take you ages to select
The flop flops to wear for the right effect . . . . . lol
Ha!
DeleteI was just pulling your leg....but you knew that!
Have a great day!
lol
DeleteHello my friend. I am catching up! Look like it was indeed, a lovely weekend. Tell me, do you take your flower baskets in under cover when you leave, or just leave them out on the deck? Also...do you ride the Sea Do too? And how is the water? Cold? Clear? Weeds? Pebble bottom, or sand?
ReplyDeleteYour dinner sounds perfect for a hot day. I don't cook on Wednesdays as hubby plays on a mens softball team, and never eats on those nights. Weird, isn't it? So I get the night off, and intend to try to get some yard work done when it is close to sundown. Too darn hot! Just awful!
xo Kris
Wow...lots of questions!
DeleteI'll email you!
No rain here, but the cooling breeze moved in later this afternoon, right when we were having a tea party in the gazebo ... the grandkids were here all day so we did lots of fun things. It's back to school next week for them so all the extra days we've had them this summer has now come to an end. I need to water some plants tonight too.
ReplyDeleteMuch cooler this evening...kinda nice!
DeleteYou will miss those kiddies when school starts...
Your rain has been visiting with us!!! Do you want it back? I can always try and get it to come back and see you if you want!!! Your tiger lilies are lovely, I think that I remember you saying last year that they didn't flower so well, so it is good to see them blooming again. xx
ReplyDeleteHi Amy...
DeleteNo....keep the rain! Hahaha!
Unfortunately we are getting it this long weekend. :o(
Yes....the lilies are way better this year...nice that you remembered!
Lovely images! Sounds like a great day. It's been a cooler summer and the plants have loved it. Non-stop blooms. Enjoy your dinner out!
ReplyDeleteThanks Martha....we did!
DeleteLovely tiger lilies, brings back memories of my childhood summers spent in the Laurentians. Nice to see you at fitness this morning. Hope you enjoyed dinner out.
ReplyDeleteHi Hester....
DeleteGlad I jogged a memory for you....dinner was delish!
I just love looking at that water....it makes me feel more relaxed just looking at the pictures, so I can only imagine what it does for you to spend hours doing that in real life!
ReplyDeleteWe were so humid today, you could have cut the air with a knife. I hope it blows away soon!
Oh Betsy...it is even more fantastic in real life...
DeleteThe best part is....we have breakfast on the deck.....work around all day....usually have lunch down there....more odd jobs....crossword and reading......shower at 3.....then into slo-mo for the remainder...of course I make dinner in there too! Hahaha! Overall.....a very satisfying experience!
How wonderful....I love that routine! And eating outside is just the best!
Delete:o).......suits us just fine!
DeleteI live much too close to the lake and too far away at the same time.
ReplyDeleteIt's always there waiting, and I'm always headed somewhere else.
Might be different if it was lapping directly at my backyard.
It's still a treasure and I still love it being there.
Hope you get some sunshine tomorrow. When you're done with it send it on this direction.
:0)
I know what you mean Martha....we are about a 10 minute drive to Lake Ontario....and we don't often go there! We do try and take Miss V down....but....tons of goose poopies!
DeleteHer mom takes her yo the beach in Burlington to see the ducks!
We are "almost" literally a stone's throw from Lake Ontario. Sometime we go there to do just that, throw stones, into the water of course.
DeleteI found my husband's pie loving cousin lives in Niagara Falls now... I wonder if we could make it up there again some day....
I did not know you were that close!
DeleteYou must enjoy the weather, being that close!
You should go to Niagara Falls....lovely!
I can't wait to retire near the water!
ReplyDeleteJane x

DeleteWhat a spot you have Linda. It always looks so beautiful there no matter the weather and you always find great things to photograph. Hugs. Pam
ReplyDeleteThanks Pam....I do, don't I?
DeleteI love those pics, Linda. You're so blessed to be living there (even if it gets really cold in winter). Linda at the beach... Oh I'm so jealous. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Blue...
DeleteI don't live there...it is our weekend cottage...glad you're jealous! hahaha!
All of the flowers are wonderful to look at on my brand new big tablet screen. Your pictures look like art. Well done, you.
ReplyDeleteWhy thanks Ivy....glad you enjoyed them!
DeleteCan't get over your view. It is so beautiful. I would never come inside!
ReplyDeleteWe try not to! But....I love the inside as well♥️
