We're having fall weather, too! Blue sky with puffy clouds and cool temps! It was 46F degrees this morning! I've had to dig out the jeans and find some socks! haha. We'll have Indian Summer, though, I'm sure.

DeleteMy weekend was a little lazy today but yesterday my future daughter in law's parents celebrated their 65th (for him) and 60th (for her) birthday party and my son and fiance put on a party for them with a disco - Peter was there all through until 11pm - but asleep for a lot of the time. He stole the evening and all these ladies were swooning over him - I just wonder whether they will when he reaches 65-70 . . . lol
It sure has cooled down here too ... Fall clothes, soups, fires, flannelette sheets, and I'm thinking where are the scarves and fingerless gloves!!

Yesterday rained a lot and today a sunshine day:)
That chair came with the cottage...it was ugly brown....I spray painted it blue!

ReplyDeleteYes, the weather has been entirely too strange. We went from summer to late fall overnight. I was hoping for a little more gradual change, one that won't have all the leaves falling off the trees before the end of September. I don't want to miss the colors.
I baked two apple pies yesterday. Just practicing up for my "hopeful" trip across the border one of these days.

DeleteThat deep orange is stunning in the first photo... and I see someone in the mirror in the rocker photo. Pretty lady! Wore a jacket yesterday on my walk. I think it feels weird because it happened so quickly. Last week we were suffering with 40C humidity and last night it was 5C. C R A Z Y! But "they" say we will have one of the warmest Octobers on record. Who knows. Have a great week.
