Just after this.....Mum and baby Grackle came in for a dip....
Very busy indeed!

Cloudy and humid today at home, we returned late yesterday afternoon....
The rumblings of thunder at the cottage were pretty scary.....and VERY high winds...

These are really sweet pics of the birds enjoying their bath time. Our new Liam had his first bath and didn't enjoy it quite so much. :) I hope you are having nice weather for the holiday. It's beautifully sunny in Calgary and may warm up to the upper teens. Three more days here. :( Hugs. Pam

DeleteThose are beautiful photos, Linda. I love that old bird-bath. I've never bought one, so made one out of a ceramic dish this year. It was fun to see who would use it. This past weekend was a busy one for me and the retired-guy. I had many homes to provide cat-care and he put a new roof on our old house. He's not finished yet. He likes to do everything himself which can be a bloody curse sometimes. Anyway, not much playtime here but next weekend it is all about family and get-togethers. Looking forward to that. Gwynn turns one and Gary turns 60. :)) Hope all is well with you. Have a good Labour Day. Hugs, Deb
ReplyDeleteHi Deb.....this old one came with the cottage....boyfriend has glued it several times, as the racoons love to tip it over all the time!
DeleteWe have 2 others...but this one is deep, and the large birds love it!

Those are adorable photos of the robin in the birdbath. A mixture of weather here as well ... looks like more rain later today. It has been a great weekend ... visiting, relaxing, family bbq, grandkids playing, reading, sewing and more.

I am a little sad that we are in September already. The summer has been so lovely. But she is here and I welcome her.
