Perfectly Perfect....
Hope you are all having a great day...
Thoroughly enjoyed our time with Miss V...
Kinda tired today...I am old you know! hahaha!
I had shown you these pears ripening to their best juiciness on my kitchen table...
Well....they did just that...and we gobbled them up!
Having Spaghetti tonight...easy and quick and delicious!
Today was grey all day....not a peek of sun at all!!
But...she is returning tomorrow, so will get outside and get a few garden shots!
Enjoy your evening...
Cheers! :o)

ReplyDeleteSounds good Elaine!
DeleteHope the cottage got some rain.....
I actually didn't eat supper as I had lunch out and ate too much. Plus I had peanut butter pie for dessert while out and it was so rich I couldn't even finish it! We worked in the garden this evening pulling weeds and burning them in the fire pit. Now I need tylenol. :) Have a nice evening.
ReplyDeleteOooooooh.....peanut butter pie......yummy!
DeleteLove your title, "Perfectly Perfect." Just caught up with all of Miss V's photos from yesterday's blog. What a darling. This morning, I had my training session as a poll clerk for the upcoming municipal election, so I didn't make it to S. Common, darn. Hope you have a rest from the fun, busy grandparenting days. Take care...
ReplyDeleteThey were so juicy and tender.....perfectly perfect!
DeleteFeeling relaxed this evening....
Beautiful pears Linda! hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteOh I feel ok, Gloria....just tired!
DeleteYou missed Miss V yesterday!
I I saw yesterday! But Only I comment today aw she look absolutely beautiful:))
DeleteMy grandparents used to grow pears and 'put them up' and their house always smelled like pears. It is one of my most favourite smells. :-)
ReplyDeleteNo charge for the memory! :o)
DeleteMy day did include a peek of sun, before the clouds and some rather cool temperatures moved in. I was really hoping some of last week's Minnesota weather would have followed me home. It was absolutely gorgeous while we were there.
ReplyDeletePerhaps tomorrow I will search of a basket or two of fruit. I need to practice up on my pie making, just in case I find a chance to take a drive somewhere...
:0)
Oh you big tease you!
DeleteWelcome back....you missed incredible weather here....
It would be so much fun to actually make it happen though.
DeleteYes it would......
Deletei read once that sophia loren said she owed her figure to spaghetti.
ReplyDeleteit's one of my all time favorite comfort foods. could probably eat it every day and not tire of it.
and i imagine yours is delicious for sure... like all your cooking.
i just know that about you.
send us those cloudy skies and some rain please! xoxo♥
It was pretty darn good...if I do say so myself!
DeleteCloudy skies gone....sun coming back!
But.....cooler....for the weekend! Darn!
Yesterday was warm and sunny here...today grey and cold! What a tease fall is!
ReplyDeleteI'm tired, too. We need our beauty sleep! ha.
For sure Betsy....
DeleteBut...you are knee deep in renos!
You have a much better excuse....
Luscious pears! Yum. Cloudy here too but we have had about 10 days of sunshine and warmth. Quite spectacular really.
ReplyDeleteSame weather here in Mississauga as in Toronto!
DeleteBut...crappy again today...so far...
Perhaps some sun later!
I love pears! I see you have an avocado there too. What do you have to pay for those where you are? Just curious. They are about 1 dollar each here.
ReplyDeleteI loved seeing the previous post too, even though I saw the pics on fb. She is such a cutie pie. I can tell she loves her new bike! Look at all of those golden leaves on the ground! I also love Viv's new cup!!!! Sweet!!
xo Kris
Hey Kris....
DeleteAvacadoes go for 2/$4 right now...usually pricier in the Winter...
I find right now they are kinda crummy inside...I have been keeping them in the fridge like you said...once they get a wee bit riper...Love them!
But....I don't have a tree like you in my back yard....you are so lucky!!
Hi Linda:)

Sohia Lauren was one of my big heart throbs . . .
