With the frost warning tonight it is getting harder to hang on to the last of summer. I hear it will warm up by Sunday, though. Have a great weekend at the cottage, Linda. I'll be out at the property getting dirty again.
They all look great, Linda. My annuals are still blooming great too but we may have frost tonight so I hope they survive. I covered them with towels. :)
We are winding down here in the far west. Cloudy days and rain. And it seems that the days have become so short all of a sudden. Time for fires and blankets and hearty stews.
when you do posts like the last two of your home in town... with glimpses of the beautiful aqua blue pool peeking through the gorgeous colored flowers... i confess to feeling like i'm visiting a very fine little resort! and then you tell me the menu plan... and I KNOW I AM! LOLOL. glad you're having a bit of summer days yet... since you love them so. xoxo♥
Hi Linda!! Just catching up now I am back, I have been reading, just not commenting. It is so lovely to see what you have growing in your two homes and how it is all doing, the grasses are looking wonderful aren't they. Hope that you are having a great weekend at the cottage. xx
Flowers always seem to peak at the end...it makes the frost getting them all the more sad, doesn't it? We still have some lovely weeks ahead to enjoy them...then the turning leaves will get our attention. :)
Beautiful bright colors!
