Once again the flowers and foliage around the cottage....
Were covered in moisture....
Very pretty....indeed....
Surprisingly....
Very few shells on the beach this year....
Lots of coral and "dead mans fingers" though.....hahaha!
There is a lady that sits here everyday...all bundled up....scary!
Hope you all had a great day....
Any warmer up there?
Have some yellow, red and green peppers, with onion slices sautéing....
Some beef and chicken marinating....
Lettuce shredded....salsa ready....
It is FAJITA NIGHT at the beach cottage!
Beef for him.....Chicken for moi!
Will take a few pics....maybe! Hahaha!
Enjoy your evening....
Thanks for hanging in there with me....
Cheers! :o)
You got the good life.
ReplyDeleteI think we all do Ivy......thanks!
DeleteIt is a neat little life..
ReplyDeleteWe see so many people we don't know..but know ..on our deserted beach..We chat for a few minutes and continue on..We do have long time aquaintances now..and keep in touch and love seeing each other..yet keep our privacy..
They are friends:)
All difeferent countries..provinces..
I do so love the beach.
And Jo-Anns:)
Yes, I know what you mean Monique....
DeleteThere is a couple in the identical cottage next door....from Ohio....will see them next year!
I love Joann's too!
You found some beautiful flowers for us ~ thank you.
ReplyDeleteLike the menu (both choices) .. .
Have you spoken to the lady? . . .
She might be an interesting character.
Hope you can get your flip flops in use again soon . . . . :)
Hi Eddie....
DeleteNo problem...glad you enjoyed them..
Dinner was good...no pics!
No...have not spoken to her...we'll see....
Still wearing the Flipflops....never say die! Hahaha!
How come you're not showing us your furry hair? haha. :) (mine does the same thing!)
ReplyDeleteLove the dinner choice...sounds really good. Many of my dinners start off with sauteing onions and peppers, it seems.
Hope the fog burns off and you have some lower humidity. Still cold here...more snow coming tonight!
Are you kidding me? Hahaha! No one would ever visit again! Hahaha!
DeleteI looked like Hermie from Rudolph! Sticking up at the sides!
It is true about the onions and peppers....like the trio of carrot, celery and onion for soups!
Stay warm!
Oh Linda, I love how your camera can can pick up the drops of water so beautifully. Dinner sounds good. I took the easy path tonight. Michel (our daughter) gave me a Harry David Christmas basket, and it had a Potato/Corn chowder mix. Just add onion, garlic, bacon, half n half, and chicken broth. It was creamy thick and delicious.
ReplyDeleteI do have a wonderful camera....has the macro built right in...and the zooooom!
DeleteSoup sounds good and hearty!
Perhaps the lady is the Floridian equivalent of the French Lieutenant's Woman ?

ReplyDeleteIf they don't smell too much, they will go to the cottage at home!
DeleteI love all those flower shots. What a great thing to be able to see some greenery and some colour. And, of course, the ocean!
ReplyDeleteA lot more hibiscus open this am.....must go out and see them up close!
Deletesounds like you're having a wonderful time! Beautiful blossoms,
ReplyDeleteHi Laurie.....how are you?
DeleteWasn't sure if you had come home yet until I saw those gorgeous tropical flowers. What a lucky gal you are. And cooking=love for you to do it on vacay! For me, too, but I get easily swayed by a new restaurant!!!
ReplyDeleteJane xxx
Still here Jane....few more weeks to go....
DeleteDon't mind cooking....then I enjoy eating out so much more!
Beautiful flowers - we're in need of some colour. Dinner sounds very yummy.
ReplyDeleteTook my Dad to "Blithe Spirit" tonight at the Princess of Wales Theatre - it was his Christmas present. Starred Angela Lansbury and she was absolutely magnificent. 89 years young. What a terrific show.
Okay... I always have to laugh at those who say, "There are so few shells on the beach each year." It's because everyone is collecting them and taking them home! :-)
So nice to spend time with your Dad....you are indeed lucky♥️
DeleteHa! I guess that is why there are no shells....you are right!
What fun Linda - we are in plant synchronization: we have every one of those plants in our garden!
ReplyDeleteBut no dead man's fingers.
Which is probably a good thing - we are quite a way from the sea. xx
Yes....hahaha! Glad no dead mans fingers!
DeleteI love tropical plants....especially planted in the ground!
How are you?
I am going well, thank you, Linda. Wishing the summer would end! Hope all is well with you too.
DeleteWishing the summer would end? NEVER!
DeleteBeautiful pictures! It is raining and grey again here today. I am fed up of the rain. Thoroughly fed up!! So, it is great to come and see your pretty things and the nice cheery colour!! xx
ReplyDeleteOh dear....I hope it stops raining for you....but....you do have some garden activity, right? And they need the rain....
DeleteWe put our "collections" in jars... for each trip to the beach. Love the coral pieces. The plants and flowers are so beautiful. We had snow yesterday... I'm ready for spring. blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteI have oodles in my powder room at home...designated as the beach bathroom!
DeleteSnow in Texas? Oh my.....
All look beautiful Linda, big hugss!!!
