Yesterday.....After the Rain...

After it had rained all day....

Even a few rumbles of thunder...

The sun managed to squeeze her face out around 6pm.....

And....

What a splendid job she did. ♥️

The sunset hitting the kitchen....

It just kept getting better and better....

Still trying to position pictures....may take me a few days....

Sun is out this morning....windy....cool

Gonna go for a walk...

Have a great day...

Cheers!  :o)

  3. How inviting those chairs look! Love your little cottage kitchen! You may need to get an antibiotic kiddo. Don't let it go too long and ruin your vacay!
Wish I could sit in one of those chairs with you!

  4. Beautiful sunsets, Linda . . .I bet you could sit there for hours ~ a little like your lake but with lots of salt.
See you quickly found some interesting flower specimens to shoot.
If you go surfing watch out for those big black fins . . . . :)

    2. So sorry about the bad weather and your sinus infection ~ think antibiotics might be the answer like Kris suggested.
Shame it is so cold there for you ~ let's hope for better things tomorrow. . . . . :)

    2. I thought I saw the moon too, Linda. Sun and moon in one pretty picture. No?

Dixie, we need to stop drinking. When Linda says there's no moon, there's no moon. But when I looked in the mirror, I swear I thought I saw the moon, too. Weird huh?

    3. Yes...I think you both better quit drinking....for a while...
      NO MOON!

  17. How pretty....sunsets seem even more special after a day of rain!
You might have to look for an Urgent Care near you there...they are a doctor's office that takes walk-ins, in case you don't have them up north.
Feel better! Hope it warms up!

    1. Hi Betsy....we have walk-in clinics at home, but we also have our great medical coverage in Ontario....

  19. Okay, I'm feeling very badly for you, especially since I just read your comment about your special day tomorrow. So, a Florida walk in clinic sounds about right, because it sure sounds like you need a round of antibiotics, LSK. And it'll most likely be pricey, but very necessary! Okay, is that enough of a lecture? Take care of yourself, hope you have a good night's rest and that the weather warms up!

  21. One thing I always loved about Florida was the ever-present hibiscus. So pretty. Was at the opera tonight and BOY was it chilly on the walk home. Was practically holding my breath. Supposed to be a polar vortex this weekend. Enjoy it while you can... hope that nasty sinus infection hits the road.

Everything looks so beautiful! I wish I could transport myself to a tropical destination. Very cold here today, but I believe we're going to have sunshine. You may have succeeded, after all, in sending some my way. Have a beautiful day (especially TODAY). *wink wink* I wish you all the best. Cheers, my friend! xo
