A Few More In The Garden.....

I always am amazed that this Hosta comes up every year, in an old tin picnic basket!!

I see you Mr Frog!

I always make a weekend bouquet for the kitchen porch...

Also for the sunporch, but not yet this year...too chilly out there!!

Whatever is in bloom...goes into the vase!

Daffodils...Tulips...Forsythia...Lunaria...Ferns...Love this!

Purchased this wooden rocking chair planter over the Winter...

Plunked one of the Nursery plants in...

So cute!! But, I will switch it out...

Probably for some Basil!!

A few nice juicy Lilies have transplanted themselves here!!

                                        ******************

Hope you are all having a great day!!

Lovely and sunny here...breezy...a wee bit chilly...BUT...sunny♥️

A good evening for a nice comforting meal...

Grilled Pork Tenderloin...

Crispy roasted Yams and young carrots...and awesome asparagus!!

Lots of veggies...trying to shed a few lbs before our trip!

Oh...I haven't told you about that, have I?

I am also busy working on some crochet for someone very special!

I will reveal all shortly!!

Enjoy the rest of your day!!

            Cheers! :o)

  5. What a pretty bouquet, Linda. I'm seeing many on blogs and they are all so different and sweet. If you haven't dropped over to Madelief, please do. You will love her blog. The mouse-house smells of lilacs, purple and white. All growing on our property. :) It was dinner out for us tonight. Cooler weather here, too, but I don't mind as long as the sun shines. Deb

  6. Ah, a trip - looking forward to hearing about that, Linda. I'm still in Canada, and had a great time by the lake. Now I understand lake-living's appeal for you :) The gardens go at a fantastic rate in Spring - I've never seen anything like it. It takes me a year for a fern to grow as fast as it does here in a week! Eating Victoria sponge here this week - well, why not? Cheers, xx

  10. I love the hosta---I have to try one in a container- I have them everywhere. And the chair is precious.

Dinner sounds lovely as usual. Cold and gloomy here so I made a creamy chicken and veggie casserole tonight. Not sure if it's suitable for the blog as it's really filling comfort food.

    A trip? I'm curious AND envious!!! :)

  12. That's a cute little rocking chair planter, looks lovely with the plant in it. Hostas are so resilient. My neighbour is giving me some from her garden on the weekend .... do I need any more? probably not but I'll find spaces to squeeze them in.

Love all your fun containers - that tin basket is cool and the chair planter is so sweet. I like that nature chooses her own bouquet for your table.

Your dinner sounds delicious. Have no idea what mine will be as I am going to Hugh's Room tonight for dinner and jazz. Two dear friends of mine are performing. Looking forward to it.
