Jam......

Finally got some more freezer jam made today...
I had so much fruit already frozen...and it works just as well as fresh fruit!
I had planned on making a pie as well...
But...
The day got away from me...:o)
Oh...
I also have spaghetti sauce cooking...
Have not made my sauce for such a long time...
Glad to have that on hand...
And...
My jams will look so cute...
When paired with my sweet new labels!!
Always wanted labels for things...
And...
Thanks to Michael's...
I now have some!!

Tonights dinner will be Pepper Steak...
Served over No Yolks noodles...
With a side of loaded Spinach Salad...
Have not had this dish for ages...
Looking forward to it!!

Hope you are all having a great day...
Beautiful sunshine here and warm temps...
Hard to believe tomorrow is Autumn...
Oh...
I also picked up my first Pumpkin today...
She is on the front steps...
I also want to get a few White ones...love those!!

Well...enjoy the rest of your day...
Hope you are all well...

Cheers! :o)

  4. It has been a lovely day, grass got cut, some flowers trimmed, some tomato plants pulled, some crocus bulbs planted, bought some garlic to plant, and put some things in the garden away for another year. I also washed the hummingbird feeders and put them away, don't want to encourage those little cuties to stick around, even though I want them too. A great day, some reading and knitting tonight.

  6. Your jams are cute and I imagine the labels will make them even cuter. Your dinner sounds delish. We had Budha bowls. Jasmine rice topped with black beans, corn, and chopped cucumbers, kale, tomatoes, celery, avocado and mushrooms. Then I top that with a little bit of oil-n-vinegar dressing. Basically, I use whatever vegetables I have on hand and it's usually never the same.

    2. 99% Vegetarian. I eat salmon and shrimp occasionally. im not against trying new things, either. For instance I had an Elk burger in Wyoming a couple of months ago. Probably won't eat another.

  7. That fruit mix would be called Brambleberry Jam! Isn't that a cute name? I make Brambleberry Pie sometimes when I have a little of each berry.

Dinner sounds good....time to pull out the fall/winter recipes!

  14. Love the jams and labels. Did you know that we now have a new Michael's store at Dundas/ #403 area? In that super centre with Indigo and Party City. Visited my daughter and grandkids yesterday. Brought shepherd's pie, homemade chocolate cookies. Love being with them, not happy about the 100 km. drive each way. :( Enjoy the birthday dinner this evening, I'm sure it'll be yummy.

  15. I missed out on making strawberry jam this year. I didn't even pick any strawberries, which is very sad.
I love your pretty jars and labels.
Had one of those cousins from your neck of the woods say she was going to make a surprise visit to her auntie on Monday but she backed out. No pie for Tracy. (and now I gave that bag of blueberries to Hannah.)
