ReplyDeleteIt is good...and so darn easy peasy...I would gladly share a jar with you!!
DeleteLove those tags Linda..I think I would have succumbed to temptation and you jam looks great..I Love making a big batch of spaghetti sauce and meatballs..
ReplyDeleteOne of our fave meals..in fall and winter..and we know that's coming..
I don't know why I said fall and winter..when M and A and Noah came for dinner I used one of my non meatball sauces..and made lasagna..It was so hot we ate outside..and no one complained it was a hot meal:)
Pepper steak:)
Bonne soirée~
Thus batch is meat free....I might cook a few sausages for the boyfriend...or add ground beef later....
DeleteDaughter Erika, miss V and son a Ryan are vegetarian...so, it works for me!
Erika and Miss V having her bday dinner here tomorrow...my youngest will be 36!
So....the sauce will be for her birthday dinner!
Pepper steak almost ready!
Enjoy your evening!
Those jams look fabulous . . . oh I love them . . . . I'm coming over . . . . lol
ReplyDeleteHappy dinner . . . well deserved after a day in the kitchen . . . pour a nice wine for you and b/f on me . . . I am drinking a nice cool beer . . . :)
Little Rosa a little better today and quite alert and responsive and at 5 weeks can hold her head up when playing with mummy on her front on her play mat . . . :and making coohey noises . . :)
Hi Eddie....
DeleteEnjoy your beer! No wine for me tonight! I am a weekend (usually!) drinker!
Glad to hear a Rosa is doing better...mom needs her beauty sleep!
It has been a lovely day, grass got cut, some flowers trimmed, some tomato plants pulled, some crocus bulbs planted, bought some garlic to plant, and put some things in the garden away for another year. I also washed the hummingbird feeders and put them away, don't want to encourage those little cuties to stick around, even though I want them too. A great day, some reading and knitting tonight.
ReplyDeleteThe jam looks good and those new labels are adorable.
DeleteAt least you got outside, Linda!
DeleteI will be out there tomorrow....with Miss V!
Enjoy your knitting!
Your jam, jars and labels are really nice Linda. I bet it tastes good too. It's nice to have homemade jams - so much better!
ReplyDeleteIt tastes like fresh fruit, Pam...very delicious!
DeleteYour jams are cute and I imagine the labels will make them even cuter. Your dinner sounds delish. We had Budha bowls. Jasmine rice topped with black beans, corn, and chopped cucumbers, kale, tomatoes, celery, avocado and mushrooms. Then I top that with a little bit of oil-n-vinegar dressing. Basically, I use whatever vegetables I have on hand and it's usually never the same.
ReplyDeleteAnd a bit of ribbon...done! Hahaha!
DeleteAre you vegetarian? It certainly sounds delicious....and very practical!
You should do a post!
99% Vegetarian. I eat salmon and shrimp occasionally. im not against trying new things, either. For instance I had an Elk burger in Wyoming a couple of months ago. Probably won't eat another.
DeleteElk? Really.....I prefer Salmon! hahaha!
DeleteThat fruit mix would be called Brambleberry Jam! Isn't that a cute name? I make Brambleberry Pie sometimes when I have a little of each berry.
ReplyDeleteDinner sounds good....time to pull out the fall/winter recipes!
That's it! When I do the pie, I also add apple....very decadent!
DeleteAll my favorites I love berry's . They are soo cute those little jars . Supper sounds YUMMY ! It was another lovely day here to sunny and warm with cool breezes . Thanks for sharing , Have a good day and a Happy First Day of Fall /Autumn .
ReplyDeleteSame to you Elaine!!
DeleteYes, please, raspberry for me :) I love homemade jam. The absolute best. Sounds like you had a lovely day. And very busy!
ReplyDeleteAnd so easy...freezer jam...no cooking!
DeleteLooks delicious and what a great colour. I purchased (along with many other things) some sweet labels with tiny spoons attached from Betsy's shop. Too cute!
ReplyDeleteSat in the beautiful sunshine for several hours today and got a wee bit red, but what a gorgeous day. Just perfect.
Sunburnt??? And you being a redhead...I also have a lot of red...My Dad had red hair!!
DeleteHi Linda, if I lived close by....I would be snitching a jar of that jam! lol! Love the cute little jars and checkered lids. Your dinner sounds good, I love spinach salad. I fixed chicken and a pasta salad for our dinner.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe tomorrow is officially autumn! I'm going to go out pumpkin hunting. I love fall!
Happy Fall to you!
I would gladly share Cheryl!!
DeleteHappy pumpkin hunting!!
Wow it looks great Linda! I would love to try making jam...never done it before.
ReplyDeleteSo easy!! It is freezer jam...not sure if you can get the mix in Italy, though!
DeleteLove the colorful Jam Jars . . .
ReplyDeleteAnd the tags too . . .
Ambitious you are cooking up things to enjoy and share!
I tried a new Potato Soup recipe yesterday . . . WINNER . . . oh my, was it yummy!
Fresh baby red potatoes, celery, onions, creamy base, crisp bacon, green onions and fresh cheddar cheese for garnish . . . Perfect greeting for a fall like day . . .
Happy Autumn Days to you sweet lady . . . and "boyfriend" too . . .
LOVE potato soup...you should post the recipe! I do a potato and leek soup that I got from one of my peeps...
DeleteI will tell the Boyfriend! tee hee hee!
Love the jams and labels. Did you know that we now have a new Michael's store at Dundas/ #403 area? In that super centre with Indigo and Party City. Visited my daughter and grandkids yesterday. Brought shepherd's pie, homemade chocolate cookies. Love being with them, not happy about the 100 km. drive each way. :( Enjoy the birthday dinner this evening, I'm sure it'll be yummy.
ReplyDeleteYes...saw it on the way to the cottage last week!!! SO excited! Just finished a few crochet pieces, and I must find a pattern for the wool I bought there a few weeks ago...they sent me some coupons...so I will go for sure!! Wanna go??
DeleteLOVE shepherds pie...and chocolate chip cookies...
I missed out on making strawberry jam this year. I didn't even pick any strawberries, which is very sad.
ReplyDeleteI love your pretty jars and labels.
Had one of those cousins from your neck of the woods say she was going to make a surprise visit to her auntie on Monday but she backed out. No pie for Tracy. (and now I gave that bag of blueberries to Hannah.)
:0)
You had an extraordinarily busy year, Martha...I used frozen berries, that I had not used up when they were fresh...
DeleteWhere is my pie? :o(
When is our visit?
Delete:0)
A very busy day of cooking and all delicious I am sure! xx
