So nice to have met YOU too. Funny how we have all found each other in different ways. Such beautiful floral close-ups - I'm getting lost in them.
ReplyDeleteLove this cooler weather! Sat in our roof garden for an hour or so this morning and then picked up some treats at the Distillery bakery. Yum. It was so nice to have no humidity!

DeleteYou have plenty of time to learn!
DeleteHi Linda!
ReplyDeleteWhew! I'm sooooooo sorry it took me a while to get here. First and foremost, Happy Anniversary to you two Love birds. Quite a feat in these times:) *¨¨*:•..•:*¨¨*:•..•:*¨¨*:•..•:*¨¨*:•..•:*¨¨*:•..•:*¨¨*:•.•:*¨¨*:•.•:*¨¨*:•.•:*¨¨*:•
Your pictures are as lovely as usual. My hollyhocks are long gone, except, I planted a few seeds from last years plants and would you believe they grew so well that they are actually blooming!!! They weren't suppose to bloom until next year!!! I see you have a "hot lips" plant too. Mine didn't grow as tall as usual this year but the bees still manage to huddle up inside, lol...And, your Rose of Sharon is the same color as mine. I took some clippings to make "babies". Have you ever tried it?
The best thing about this post, besides your genuine words and the reminder of what an amazing blogosphere we all share with such incredible people is, learning Miss V has taken to swimming and floating!!! Oh how they grow so quickly. I must look back and find that post!!!
Thank you so much for visiting my blog, Linda through this difficult time in my corner of the world. Your comments always bring a much needed smile to my mind:) Thank YOU. May you and your boyfriend have many more years of marital ¸¸.•*¨*♥Ⓛⓞⓥⓔ♥*¨*•.¸¸¸¸.•*¨*♥Ⓛⓞⓥⓔ♥*¨*•.¸¸¸¸.•*¨*♥Ⓛⓞⓥⓔ♥*¨*•.¸
Thanks Louise...very kind of you to say....
DeleteMy Rose of Sharon don't need any help from me! They are growing everywhere!
I will pot them up in a few weeks...and take them to the lake!
Have a great week!
Love your photos. And your beautiful new grasses header. And the lovely messages between you and your blogger friends, very heartwarming. Having a very busy weekend in NY. Grand daughter's 6th birthday party yesterday, Today a disappointing baseball game at Yankee Stadium between the Yankees and our Toronto Blue Jays. Did we ever lose badly, but at least the Yankee fans were elated! Take care and hope your weather has improved.
ReplyDeleteIt is a love festive, eh Hester?
DeleteOur Jays won 3 out of 4.... Too bad you weren't at one of the winning games!
Happy Birthday to your Grandaughter♥️
Enjoy your time....safe trip home!
Beautiful sunset tonight!
Blogging really is a lot of fun and the people we meet, fantastic.
ReplyDeleteSo true, Ivy.....
