We Did It ALL On Wednesday...♥️

It started with a walk to the park...

The mandatory Dandelion blow...

Monkey business...

Bike ride...

Back home...

Lunch...

Nap...

Swim...

PHEW!!

Nana and Papa are worn out!!

These Hydrangeas in my front yard, are just beautiful!!

They are supposed to be Limelight, but are much whiter than my bush in the backyard...

This HUGE Spider likes them too!!

This planter of Spider plant, Geraniums and Potato vine is still going strong...

Think I might take this inside for the winter!

Love the pink Geranium with the darker centre...

And...

The Pansies from Easter are blooming again!!
see the snail!!

Miss V and I picked these wild flowers, on the way to the park...

She thought Mrs Frog...on my front steps... might like to look at them♥️

That day was Papas turn to help her float...

She laughed so hard when he dove under, and came up at the other end of the pool!!

"Papa...you can swim under the water? Papa your hair is wet"!!!

Gotta love it!

Miss V is here again today...
She has a wee touch of croup...
Feels ok for a few hours, and then kinda runs out of steam...
Better to be here with her Nana and Papa, than at day care♥️
Lots of TLC for her here...
She had a nap...and wanted to go in the pool again!!
Geesh....wish she had wanted this earlier in the season...
She would probably be swimming herself by now!!
Oh well...better late than never, I guess...
Also...another bike ride!
All around the block...

Hope you are all having a great day...

Heading back to the cottage early in the morning...
Supposed to be nice...but some rain on Saturday...
We may stay til Monday...
Want to enjoy these last few days of SUMMER!
Temps back to seasonal by next week...
This past week has been glorious weather...
Gonna miss SUMMER...
Hope AUTUMN is just as nice...

Enjoy your evening...
Have a great weekend my friends...

                  Cheers!  :o)

  1. Miss V is growing up fast, but still as lovely as ever. Sorry to hear that she gets a touch of croup, my youngest son used to get it - not nice at all.

  9. Miss V is so sweet and hopefully she'll be just as enthusiastic about swimming next summer as she is now. What about swimming lessons this winter? I hear it's gorgeous and hot in NB. Wouldn't you know. Frost on the rooftops this morning here but it was a lovely fall feeling day none the less. xx Pam

  10. I like Miss V.'s hairdo, is it a braid or a ponytail? Makes her look like a big girl! Hope her croup is all better very soon. Took a while to find the snail in the photo, but I won't give out any clues. :) Enjoy the weekend at the cottage while the temps are still so warm.

  11. Summer's last kick at the can, I think. Personally, I can't wait until it's cooler. I don't like losing the light though.
Miss V is a doll and I love that she wanted Mrs. Frog to admire her flowers. Too cute.
Have a great time at the cottage! xOx

  12. Miss V is growing like a weed - what a tall girl she is now. It sounds like a fun day of activities for you all. I am sorry she has croup - I used to spend half the night in the bathroom with the hot tap running to use the steam to ease by son's croup. Hope they have better treatment these days. What a clever pansy, flowering twice in the one season. xo

Our grands are back in school, oldest started French this year and love sit He spent ages the other day writing down all the French words he had covered so far and wanted to learn more. Hope this enthusiasm stays with him through the years. Enjoy the cottage and the last days of summer.
