For Those Of You Who Were Asking......

For those of you who were asking...
Our wee RED made an appearance today...
We were eating lunch with Miss V...
And she spied him running along the fence...
He decided to sit on top of this garden bird...
Under the bird feeders...
And...
Stare at us at the table...

When Miss V finished her lunch...
She thought it was a good idea...
To toss her crusts and apple core...
So...RED could enjoy a nice lunch too...
Unfortunately...
Nobody saw this coming...
Sorry RED...
No Peanut Butter for you...
But...I do think he claimed the apple core...

Lovely day today...
Will be heading out for dinner with Miss V and her Mom...
Gonna go to Swiss Chalet...
Don't worry...no fries for me...chicken and garden salad...385 calories!!
I am being soooo good!

Enjoy your evening...

                          Cheers! :o)

  2. A darling story and even more wonderful pics...I've never seen anything like this. I do have a blogger friend in Canada (duh...not sure where) that has black squirrels. Do you? Fascinating!!

You and I are on a great path in watching our foods. I just wish I could find easier ways to be active in with this miserably cold weather all around. I'm very unmotivated! :(

I have been very good...still eating the soup I made!!
Just put a small container into the freezer for next week...
The only exercise that I have been doing, is walking every afternoon...
Too fat for the fitness class! hahaha!
      Keep up your good work!

    1. This was the first time I noticed the fuzzy ears...usually the grey squirrels have those!
Perhaps they have been busy over the last year! hahaha!

Mmmmmmm Swiss Chalet. Even the chicken and garden salad sound good to me. But I do love their fries! Sigh...

    1. OH gosh...I love their fries too Suzanne...but just don't need the calories right now...
The salad was kinda wimpy...:o(...not nearly as good as homemade!

    2. Nope, I don't need the calories either... but I still sometimes indulge.
I have been "bad" lately, although I really dislike that term. I have been out celebrating my special day with various friends and I'm not apoligizing for it! :-) But I will have to start a bit of moderation soon. For now I'm enjoying myself immensely!

  5. You have to be fast, Red. Those squirrels will get you every time. I throw things out to the birds and other creatures too. How kind of Miss V to want to feed him. Good for you watching the calories. I have been so bad, but not as bad as I was when I was at work.

  7. I don't see the red squirrels in my yard, although the animal removal guy told me he saw red squirrel evidence along our roof?! (I had a raccoon removed from my chimney) "Red" is a cutie pie, and I think it's sweet that Miss V thought of him enough to share :)

  11. Why, it's Little Black! How special!!!
We've had quite a bit of action outside with Little Red(s) and Mr. Gray(s) but I haven't happened upon a White or Black as yet. Maybe I'm not watching close enough.

  12. Very funky, cute animals in your back yard! I agree about Swiss Chalet's salad. Lately, it's been more like the bagged type. Nice that you went with Miss V and her Mom, though. Our friends from Niagara on the Lake came for lunch today on their way to T.O. We ate so much that this BF and I were too full to eat dinner. Tried my best to resist my homemade chocolate chip cookies, but failed. :)
