  1. You are right about kids loving winter more than adults. I would be out playing in the snow for hours. Now it's how fast can I get into the house to get warm. Glad you had a good day with Miss V. Your pictures are lovely as always. I especially like the fourth one.

Hope you're staying warm. I was out in ours today and it was painfully bitter! Whew!

  4. Love to see these photos as it's sometimes not as picturesque in the city.
I can just imagine that Miss V had a ball! I used to spend hours and hours in the snow when I was a kid.
What a magical banner photo! Sometimes my phone does not show the banner but it did this time. Delightful!

    2. Well I guess our skin is thinner as we age, plus kids are usually loaded down in waterproof layers.
Makes me think of Ralphie's brother in A Christmas Story. So funny. He is so weighted down with his snowsuit he can't put his arms down to his side!

    2. Just great! It's barely cold enough for a coat, today. But! The Weather Channel said there's a very slight possibility that we could see snow this weekend. So, that means the temps will plummet and I will keep looking out the window off and on, all night. Nothing like yours, but a girl can dream.

We had some really cold weather last year....geesh!
Still....the beach makes up for it!

  6. A very important question, how do we know that it's "Mr. Winter?" Maybe because of that old song, "Old Man Winter?" Not only was it bone chilling cold today, I had a back molar tooth pulled. Not fun. Looking forward to your photos of little Miss V. from today, glad you had fun despite the cold...brrr....and I love your new header, LSK....

It is white outside as I write, just one little storm, not even five minutes, but it's taking its time to melt!

  17. Aren't the fir trees gorgeous this week? Yesterday was a perfect winter day here, sunny and no wind. Today a bit colder. I just keep thinking that we are half way through and it's been an easy winter so far. I want Spring (minus the mud) ha! Your photos are so pretty, Linda. Hugs to Miss V. Deb
