And The Dreariness Continues.....

I cannot remember a drearier January than this!

The sun has not shone in a very long time!! ...and the dark, damp dreariness is really getting to everybody!!

I looked thru my archives, at previous dates in January...

And I came up with these few to share today...

Is it damp and dreary where you live???

The rain was non-stop last week...and I believe we are in for more this week! Even though the temps are way above normal, the lack of Sunshine is taking its toll!!

This wee gal...last year at this time...can certainly cheer anybody up!!

💗💗💗

Hope you are all well...and coping with whatever old man winter is throwing your way!

Lots of crazy weather across North America...and even across the Pond!!

Enjoy your week...

              Cheers!  :o)

  1. It is the same here, Linda. Awful dreary weather...cold and miserable. We have snow coming tomorrow night, too. I am always glad when we are close to March because then I know Spring is not too far off. At least you have some great pictures to share!
Hope you have a wonderful week ahead of you. xo Diana

  5. We can't complain, it's been rainy but in the 30's and 40's and that's so nice compared to the below zero of last week. We do have snow coming later this week and I'm happy about that. We have the family coming up to the lake for a day of sledding.

Is that a hawk in your first picture? You are an amazing photographer!! And I'm terrible identifying birds. lol!

Just wrote a post to catch everyone up. Stop by!!

  6. Very dreary here, but in a way that is OK because we haven't had too many really really cold days, only the one day of a sprinkle of snow and apart from that it has been icy and foggy, but not too terrible. So although it has been very grey and dreary I am grateful! We never get enough snow to make it worthwhile so I guess that is why I feel like that! Hope your weather cheers up soon, at least the days are getting longer again aren't they!

  7. It has been very grey and damp here too, but for the last few days the skies have turned blue and the sun shone brilliantly - it makes all the difference to your spirits - really uplifting.
Are you heading off with the other 'snow birds' soon Linda - my brother and his wife leave in mid-February?

  8. Is that first bird picture a female cardinal? That is so beautiful! Yes, it has been a strange winter for us... raging storms and mild weather within a few weeks of each other. I would just like a little bit of sun, please. -Jenn

  9. We've had a couple of days with SUN! We all squinted around like little moles up from down underground. LOL! And, oh, how we enjoyed it! Then it was back to the gray. Sure does make you appreciate the sunshine. ;) Loved your photos, Linda! Have a wonderful day... maybe the sun will peak out today! blessings ~ tanna

  14. I hope you get a change in the weather soon Linda. I wonder what our summer will be like. I certainly won't listen to the weather prognosticators as they got winter wrong already. Enjoy your cozy home in the meantime. We really are blessed to live where we do.
