This Past Sunday....& Some Crochet.....

We had visitors on Sunday...

She and her Papa went for a nice Wintry walk...and then showed up in the backyard to put some seed out for the birds ♥️

Loving the toque and cowl I crocheted her...

Looks like knitting! Such a great stitch...

She looks good in anything!!

After their walk...

It was time for a few crafts...

She sure does love writing and colouring and gluing sparkly things...✨✨✨

This wee note...in a new wee notebook that I bought for her...had the sweetest picture and words...

That is a picture of her and me 💓💓💓

And a note that says it all!!

This nearly broke my heart...

She is such a blessing...😇

The blanket below was finished last week...on the left is the desired length, before the border...I went a wee bit crazy, and added a few rows of BLUE to the mix, and finished with 1 dark row. I LOVE IT!!!! Now...I just need to make some BLUE  tassels, and it will be ready for snuggling!!

Hope you are all well...

Thanks for all your nice comments on my IPAD post...

Every year around this time, I need to refresh myself on the ins and out of blogging on the IPAD...this time was a bit easier...still cannot figure out how to place the photos or text...oh well...I still have time to work on that.

A few flurries today...nothing much...sun has disappeared again...cold weather coming...oh well...this is the last day of January, after all!!

Always seems like it flies by...looking forward to my vacation...

And to Spring when I return...not asking too much,eh??

              Enjoy your evening...

                     Cheers!  :o)

                          linda ♥️

  1. She's a doll and just look at those rosey cheeks. Your crocheting is stellar as usual! I'm beginning to think Spring has already arrived for us. Tomorrow's high is expected to be 72 degrees F.

  2. Lovely little visitor.
She is such a talented young lady and she is very accurate and neat with her colouring and drawings. Recognised the drawing she did of you immediately . . lol. Such a touching little note and I could see why it tugged at your heart strings . . . :)

Weather here absoluely awful . . . It's "Depressing January" when we all get the blues in Britland . . Rain, rain and more rain, accompanied by gloom . . typical January weather and extending into February it seems. Want to get out into the sunshine when it comes and get a dose of vitamin D. . :)

  6. Love the way little Miss V. is so focused when she does crafts. Her teachers at daycare/preschool probably love her. The card is very sweet and she looks super cute in her toque and cowl. Your blanket is lovely too. Gosh, am I repeating myself? You're so, so talented! :)

  9. Oh yes, blue tassels - I love it! You create such beautiful pieces, Linda. Look at Miss V in the gorgeous hat and cowl - has she tried modelling yet?...only kidding :) The snow pictures are sweet - on Skype the other day our DD took us for a quick turn around her garden, as viewed from the back door. Pristine snow all over, very attractive. Our Australian grandson was enthralled!
