Lovin' Our Winter Country Drives....

As I am sure you have guessed by now...we had our wee companion with us for this drive!!

See her there??? I put an arrow to make it easier to find her! hahaha!!

Always makes a bee line for the beach!!

Her Papa followed her down...didn't even have time to get his hat on!!!

It was pretty darn brisk I'll tell 'ya!!

While boyfriend opened up...grabbed a hat...I distracted her, by putting out some seed for the hungry birds....

She is not really standing on the icy shore...the beach is underneath that...this is frozen in mid air!! But very solid...we would never endanger her...

Check out that blue sky on the American Side of the Lake....

She got busy picking up any fallen twigs and branches...

She knows where to put them...so we will have kindling for a fire...

There is something so heartwarming about a wee child enjoying something sooo much!! She is always up for anything...loves to help with anything...she is the best thing that has happened to our family...truly....♥️

As per my last post...Miss V stayed with us for 2 days of the Christmas school break...we did everything under the sun...including quite a few rip-roaring games of Snakes & Ladders!! She won nearly all the games, too!!

I hope you are all well...and enjoying the New Year...

Our weather has turned chilly the last few days...but not as bad as some cities...we have had a very mild go of it so far!! Hardly any snow on the ground at all!! But...of course...a very harsh cold wind...💨💨💨

I have been very good about going to Fitness...made it to 2 classes this week...and I also got a few brisk walks in with the boyfriend...It really does give you the energy to do more during the day...I will continue my efforts until we leave for our vacation in the Sun...where we walk and walk and walk all day long...and relax of course!! I will take yarn with me...and I am going to try some more knitting...I did pretty well on my test  piece...who knows??? Perhaps I will knit more than I crochet!! Probably not...but I would like to refresh my skills in that area.

Today we are off for our country drive!!

Make sure the cottage is safe and sound...♥️

Planning on Chinese for lunch...some thrifting...and we have some stuff to donate too...what treasures await?? hahaha!!

Have a wonderful day and a great weekend...

And....Thanks and Welcome to new followers...hope to see you often!!

             Cheers!  :o)

  1. Great first shot of the horse ... looks like our old appaloosa ;) It has been chilly these last few days, and I wasn't so brave with getting out. Miss V looks like she would never mind about the weather. I love her jacket, it looks like a little snowstorm follows her around! Good luck with your knitting and your walks.

About the horse's eyes...I thought it was just the pigment of the skin...he/she seemed quite ok...eating with the others.
