Tulips, Hobnail And MilkGlass...

Treated my self a week or so ago...

Purchased 5 deep pink tulips...

Plopped them into one of my Hobnail vases...

Paired up with some Milk Glass candlesticks...

Of course, a couple of crystal candlesticks

And 2 small Hobnail votives...

Makes a great centrepiece...

For......

Any old occasion...

Or......

Just for me!!         :o)

Does anyone else collect Milkglass and Hobnail glass???

Another of my passions...

Perhaps I should open a store...and SELL some of it!!!

Heaven forbid....I find it difficult to part with...

Altho'...I have shared a lot of my pieces with my oldest daughter ...

As.....she also loves it!!!

Hope you are enjoying your Saturday...

         I cleaned the dining room...

As i plan on doing some entertaining thru the Christmas season...

Spaghetti sauce on the stove for to-morrow...

My son is coming to do my outdoor lights!!!  YAY!!!!

Meatloaf all ready for the oven...roasted taters and carrots..

Very cold and windy today...we actually had a few flurries
                              last evening..nothing stuck tho'...

Enjoy your evening...think I'll go and relax...and do some crocheting...

                       Cheers!       :o)

  1. A perfectly lovely centerpiece!

My daughters and I went to a celebration this afternoon. Post wedding/baby shower for a second cousin. There was even a fireplace in the lodge. It came in handy for warming up a cold backside after sitting too close to the windows for a time.

I have a weakness for Lusterware, well, at least some of it. :)

    1. I have a lamp with a white hobnail glass shade. It's one that looks like an old oil lamp, but it's electric.

  4. Nice collection of hobnail and milk glass. I don't have collections of those. The weather has cooled right down and it seems there is snow in all parts of Ontario except ours (which is fine by me). Off to swimming lessons with the grandkids this morning and then a couple of craft shows with friends this afternoon.

  6. I don't have any milk glass but I do have some jugs and vases that I just love. My problem is I have too many of them! Because it rains here 364 days a year I have to actually buy flowers to use the jugs.
