One Last Cutting....Gorgeous!!!

Imagine my surprise....

On Sunday....

I spied these...

Out my kitchen window...

OMG!!!!

I thought they were finished for this year...

First thing..

Monday morning...

Me and my snippers...

Climbed into the garden...

And came out with...

THESE!!!!

I think they were 30 blooms...

AWESOME!!!

Enough to fill 3 vases...

One for outside...

One for the hallway...

One for the family room...

Man....

There must be a reward of some kind....

For growing such beautiful specimens...

"I hereby award you...linda...the prize for growing such beautiful specimens"...

                       **********************************

"Why thank you...I don't know what to say"....

"This is so unexpected....I never thought of an award"...

"I am so surprised by all the fuss...and hoopla"...

"Seriously.....I am completely humbled by this"....

                              HAHAHAHAHA!

Hope you all had a great day...

Lovely weather....

On the menu tonight....

BBQ'D Cajun Tilapia...Crispy potatoes with chives...

                     Bok Choy....Greek Salad

Enjoy the rest of your evening..

                      Cheers! :o)

  7. Absolutely gorgeous! We are in the process of "reclaiming" the garden and yard on a house we just bought and retired in to. Perhaps these would do well in an area I have been puzzled about. Will have to read up on peonies ... as I am clueless about them ... lilacs and spirea (bridal wreath) have always been my "go to" plantings ... they are magnificent!! Thanks for sharing ~ Linda

  9. I brought in a peony from my garden, put it in a vase on my counter, and took some pics of it. I'm not sure if I am more excited about the purdy flower on my counter, or the purdy pics I now have! Seriously. Pics last forever! :) I'll post my fave one this friday...
