Fresh.........







Took a few minutes today...

To stop...

And...

Smell the flowers...

We hit a balmy 9*c...

Heat wave!!!

I had picked up these tulips last week...

Just had a chance today...

To take a few pics...

Good thing...they look like they are almost done.....
 









I thought I had bought 3 different shades....

Seems most are this very soft pink...

The purple ones did not open....

I wonder why????

I like the pink ones better....

How about you???



Got out for a wee while....

Picked up a few Easterey things...

Need to do my Hall table...

As you can see...

Mr Elf is still gracing this spot...

Will remedy that tomorrow!!! 

Actually took my Christmas wreath off the door!!!!

Bought a nice new Spring one....

Will show you all that, when I get everything organized....

Soooooo......not much on the menu tonight!

               Whatever fattening thing that tickles my fancy!!!

                 Probably a grilled cheese....pretty exciting, eh???

    Your tulips are so pretty. You know, I recently had a bunch of purple ones that didn't really open either, so now I'm wondering if maybe it's just the type they were, since yours stayed closed too.

    Lovely delicate shade of pink. What no yellow??? those are my faves.
    It was a lovely day, can take lots more like this ... buy my bday is getting closer and there is usually snow :(

    Pretty colors! When is Easter, anyway? I better look at the calendar! haha.

    Tulips are my second favorite to Daisies so I love seeing yours. With my feline 'guests' I won't be putting cut flowers out this Spring. Too tempting. I guess your weather was like ours today. Wasn't it wonderful! This was the first day to walk our dog without his coat on. haha! I can't wait to ditch mine. Grilled cheese sounds great, Linda. With a side order of fries, please. Hugs,Deb

    I got up, saw how early it was, put the kitten in my bed and the two of us slept until 9 !!
    Then I went to the Post Office and renewed my Passport .. imagining some day I might need it.
    I can't wait to see the Tulips come up in my garden. besitos. C

    I've been a lover of pink for ever. So I adore the pink ones. In fact, our granddaughter is getting married in June, and I'm looking for a pretty pink flowing dress to wear.

    Made tacos and nachos tonight...easy=peasy.

    I eat junk when my hubby's away too. LOL It's fun. :) I bought the same pale pink tulips this past week and they are so pretty but they are starting to go already. They are opened up too much now and starting to droop. I find some colours don't open as much for some reason. Sometimes yellow ones don't perform as well. I guess I'll start to get some more spring decor out and some Easter things. Last year I was all ready as Easter was so early and this year it's so late.

      Have you tried re-cutting them? Sometimes that will perk them up!
      Best in a cool spot.....but you know that!
      I picked up a few things today...gonna get decorating!
      Having company got dinner on Saturday....st Patty's is the theme....
      Will also decorate the table for that......

    My tulips are just beginning to open and get that 'designer' look.
    Hubby is away for a few days next week...so dinner in jammies,with a glass of wine is on the cards.

    Pretty pink tulips! I clipped lots of roses today. Love to have fresh flowers in my house.
    Where is the boyfriend? Enjoy your time alone. I am always good for a day or two, then I miss him terribly, and want him home!

    I love tulips and can't wait until my tulips come up in my garden. I planted a lot of purple and pink ones together and they were so beautiful! My purple ones opened, but maybe because they were outside.
