Lovely, lovely pictures. I love the detail you get in each shot. Felt like I could reach down and pick up that feather. And the ice picture..that is so interesting.
ReplyDeleteDinner as usual sound great...I'm going to make crusted tilapia, but haven't decided the side dishes yet, it's only 3:30 got time...Went to Costco this morning, so I do have choices...HaHa.
Did I hit the "first" button...Sending hugs and smiles....PS love the pic of you in your blue boots.
Thanks Wanda....I was hoping for less snow!
DeleteThe boots are great....just clomp thru everything!
Lots of snow, but that sunshine sure looks nice! Won't be long, now! I even see bits of grass!
ReplyDeletelove the wellies...
I am very optimistic!
DeleteDo you know what your cottage needs? Some photographs!
ReplyDeleteJane x
PS Wasn't today glorious?!
That is the wall of fame!
DeleteAll oldies!
Well, Linda, I was going to say that it's looking pretty good at the cottage with lots of grass showing although the lake sure is looking a little frigid yet. lol It looks better than here I must admit. And if you're working at garden cleanup then you are doing really well. Beautiful pictures as always. Hugs, Pam
ReplyDeleteYes...cleaned up here at home...cut down a few grasses...raked...looks better...
DeleteGuess you'll be a few weeks behind us....don't despair!
The ice crystals are amazing! Great photo Linda. Love the new boots too! Great present. Hope that things start to defrost soon - amazing that the lake is still frozen, or quite normal for this time of year? xx
ReplyDeleteNo....not normal!
DeleteThis is the first time in 35 years that all the 5 Great Lakes froze!
Oh...it freezes...but not usually right across...it should be open by now...
This will set the start of summer waaaay back!
Thanks for your thoughts!
I love the shade of that plant beside the bird house. What would that be called? Your cottage is so homey. I would have done exactly the same thing on the staircase with the photos. Lots of good memories. I see you found your first feather of the season. I used to pick them up as I saw them when I had a little cat that really enjoyed playing with them. Once she passed on I forgot all about them.
ReplyDeleteIt was so nice here today. Lots of sun, no wind and it smelled like Spring. :) Deb
That is a sedum....left to dry.
DeleteSame as the bright orange one I featured here a few posts ago....
Yup....first feather of the season! Hopefully many more♥️
Lovely photos ! It was a wonderful day here sunny blue sky's and the temps hit 10*C and that was in the shade . I was out all day with no coat taking photos, walking Miggs and cleaning up the yard a bit and got my first tan on my face this season ! My Hyacinths are above ground and snow is almost all gone . Spring has sprung here for sure . Tomorrow sunny and even warmer ! Thanks for sharing ! Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteTan? Already? Good for you Elaine!
DeletePretty even with the snow.
ReplyDeleteI need to plan a drive north of the border soon.
Well, maybe when it thaws out a little bit more...
Like say, June?
June sounds perfect!
DeleteWe are down to our last itty bitty pile of snow which I decided to leave as is, just because:)
ReplyDeleteYour pictures really do give the feeling of a thaw though Linda. It is taking a while but Mother Nature will pull us through:)
Thanks for sharing, Linda...GREAT shots!
I will hold onto those thoughts ~~Louise~~♥️
DeleteBoy, it looks it looks like spring down there!
ReplyDeleteLet's hope so, Furry!
DeleteBrrr, still looks chilly at the cottage!
ReplyDeleteYou got that right, Devon! Praying for warmth!
DeleteLovely images! Things can only get better from now on. April is here, after all! Have a great month.
ReplyDeleteThanks Martha...
DeletePerhaps Spring is playing an April's fool trick on us!
After a day of freezing rain and ice pellets yesterday, today we woke up to yet more snow! Happy April 1st...yuk high winds at the moment blowing very hard. Your pictures of the cottage looked like spring to me! I'm sure it will come way some day soon....I hope
ReplyDeleteJeannette
Hoping you get some nice weather soon, Jen....
