Last Sunset......and Today..

Took these shots last Friday....

Our last day in Florida.....*sigh*....

We finally had a glorious Sunset that day...

Which was long overdue....

It seemed at least a week since the last one....

This is Dianne and Alan....

They are Canadians......but live here full-time....

They have a 2 storey place, right behind the cottage we rented....

They are really nice people....we enjoyed meeting them....

This..our last Friday....they came and watched the sunset with us...

And then took us out for dinner!!!

I had awesome chicken wings....HUGE....and meaty....

We all had a great evening....

Look forward to seeing them next year...♥️

Now.....fast forward to today....

This is the pile of snow on our court at home...

Geesh.....that will take forever to melt!

We arrived home last night....drove from Lexington Kentucky....straight thru!

Hideous ice storm in the mountains of Tennessee.....

I wanted my boyfriend to pull over......he was a real trooper....I couldn't even see the road...

This is the side of our house.....leading to the back yard!

YIKES!!!!!

All is well....

Everything unpacked....

Laundered....

BIG grocery shop....

Beautiful sunny day here....

First thing, I put my high boots on...

Housecoat and all....

Clomped out to the feeders...

And loaded them up...

Within a few minutes...

Mr and Mrs Cardinal came in....

Let me tell you....THIS made my day!

Of course....Red wasn't far behind....

Didn't bother taking a pic of him....perhaps tomorrow!

Hope you all had a great day....

I sure had a busy one!

Tomorrow....

Guess who?

YUP!

Will be picking up....

Miss V!!!

Can't wait to see her♥️

 Enjoy your evening....

How many days 'til Spring?????
