"Who is that white guy in the front?"

Hope you all had a great day...

                 A chilly...windy...overcast day here....

Think we will have some meat loaf, roasted yams and corn on the cob for dinner...

All on a cool late summers day...

                                   Enjoy your evening...

                                             Cheers!    :o)

  5. Are the geese that stay here all winter long still "Canada" geese? Can we send them back? They sure are messy, and they're a protected species too. I bet they'd make a good meal... but alas, we aren't allowed to shoot them.
They sure do make nice photos though, and they're fun to feed down by the lake and bay.
Cool, cloudy, and windy here today. I had to dig up some longer sleeves and a windbreaker.
Maybe it will be summer again tomorrow.

  9. Ah, bless their little webbed feet!
Canada geese make fabulous foster parents for abandoned/orphaned geese....just sayin'...they usually get a bad rap.

  11. A cool day? I thought it was hot and muggy? When will the weather cool for Fall there? Here, we will have two more solid months of extreme heat! Then in October, mostly hot, with some cooler nights. No real hope for cool, or chilly until at least November. Hoping for a cold and wet winter!
    Lovely photos, as always Linda!

  12. What great photos Linda. We always know we're in Canada when we see the geese - they are very picturesque! My daughter was telling me today how cold and wet it was in Ottawa, not like summer at all.
