The Next Day........

Saturday morning view...YIKES!

Pouring rain...very high winds...

From upstairs...a FOG was rolling in! Scary!

We were pretty bummed out...

And it was chilly!

BRRRRR...

Called our son who was going to drop by...

Told him to forget it!

We were going to clean up, and head home...

Suddenly...

Out the kitchen window...

The birds were at the feeder...

My fern looked awesome...

As I turned to look out at the Lake...

OMG!!!
Well....will 'ya look at that!! the sun broke thru...shining in all it's glory!! SO...phoned son back..."Come on out!"...We went into town...had a bite to eat...back to the cottage, and enjoyed the deck and afternoon sun with Ryan and Anna♥️
mine is the drippy gooey pizza...his the foot long dog!

Hope you are all having a great day...

                    Lovely and sunny here...bit breezy...

Just heading out to pick up my new passport photo...did you know they won't take your picture  if you are wearing a white shirt!?!?

             So...yesterday...went to Costco...came home...changed...went back...GEESH!

                     Enjoy your day...

                        Cheers!  :o)

  6. Wow...looks like the ocean! haha...those are some waves!

I've been trying different bird feeders this month. We have a raccoon that is climbing the trees and dumping the seed on the ground, then going down for a feast. A few new ones I've tried he's literally broken apart to get to the seed. Trying one last effort with one I got today. Geesh! Can I send him up there to be friends with Red? haha.

    1. I stopped feeding a Red a few months ago.....
Racoons are a real problem.....perhaps some human hair scattered on the ground will deter them....
Or....no seed for a while.....it can be a real headache Betsy....
The birds will return when it gets cold...
Let me know how it goes....

That is really rough out there - must be a strong wind whipping that lot up.

    3. I suppose so!
A much bigger lake of water...it would also get more influence from our prairies...
Lake Erie is the furthest south...so we get a lot of southernly exposure...
