What 's On Your Kitchen Table?

Yesterday was a lovely summery sunny day...

Decided to put my Pears and Avacadoes on the table...

To bask in the sunshine...

And ripen to a soft ...tasty.... deliciousness....

My African Violet is still hanging in there...

A few purpley/bluey blooms...perhaps time to purchase a few new ones for the seasons ahead...

To add some colour...for the goodness of my soul...

My wee Kalanchoe is going gangbusters...

I think it has bloomed 4 times!!!

Hoping for a 5th....no pressure,eh? hahaha!

The Succulent in the fancy pot was a gift from my daughter at the beginning of summer...

The stock had a pretty wee pink flower...

Guess it is time to cut that off!!

Spent the day putzing around the house...dusting...vacuuming...rearranging...etc...

We are going to BBQ a steak later...mushrooms and onions...

I have bok choy for my boyfriend and fresh brussels for me...

think we'll start with a ceasar salad...

Oh yes...of course...some kind of potato!♥️

I also took several photos in the backyard yesterday...

Will save them for another day...

It is a glorious sunny day today...

Think it is time to hit the backyard, for the afternoon sun!

I did want to share this pic from yesterday...

My Ivy is turning a brilliant red....gorgeous!!

Hope you are all having a great day...

Only a few more days of summer left...

And I am going to enjoy them!!

                     Cheers!   :o)

  5. It has been perfect day. There isn't much on my kitchen table as since the reno I've have a small 2x3 counter height one with 2 benches. It just has 2 placements (one on top of the other) and an aloe vera plant in a glass teapot. I sold the bigger roux table, which I don't think the grandkids have forgiven me for. Mr. R kept asking throughout the reno ... where will the table go?
    Love the new header photo

  6. I know it sounds corny, but your photos are breathtakingly beautiful, LK. Not that it's a contest, but my african violets are trying to catch up to yours. My "boyfriend" made a yummy chicken stir-fry for dinner. Very unusual that he feels like cooking, just saying. :)

  8. My kalanchoe is green, green, green. Not a bloom in sight. I hope it will bloom again. I may buy another soon for the same reason as you buy violets. ;) It was a warm day here and sunny for half of it. The other half was dark clouds. I love your ivy. Such a beautiful colour. Have a great Thursday.
