Sea Fog & A Change Of Colour.....

This is what the beach looks like, when there is Sea Fog.....

This is our second day under this fog....

Apparently there are some Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships stranded in Tampa Bay...

Unable to go into port!

A big power boat, just south of here....ran aground....with 4 people aboard...

Right into a bar on the beach!

Fortunately no one seriously injured....couldn't see thru the fog!,

                                                 ~~~~~~~~~~~~
These White potted Mums, were a gift between my birthday and Valentines Day....
They were pure white.....I had them inside for a while....thought it was time to go outside...
They have been out there for about a week....
This morning I noticed the lovely Lilac tinge they had on the edges....
How cool is that?
They are also covered in moisture, from the heavy sea fog....
Everything was soaking wet this morning....
This is the kind of weather that gives me "fur" hair!
Not a pretty sight....let me tell you!
Anyway....
I thought these pics turned out quite nice....
So....
I wanted to share with you....
Enjoy!
We went out shopping this afternoon....
I got 2 purchases at a Hollister store....they are very pricey at home....quite pleased!
We went out for an early dinner...
Boyfriend had raw oysters on the 1/2 shell....
I had wings....with VERY hot sauce!
Things we don't eat very often.....
Back at the cottage relaxing....no sunset again....and the next few days are kinda dismal....
Perhaps a movie tomorrow afternoon....
Hope you all had a great day....
Enjoy your evening....
                  Cheers!   :o)
  3. The Mums are soooo pretty, Linda. The fog sounds creepy and serious. Even sunny Florida has its dull days, it seems :)
  4. The flowers are beautiful, as well as the sea fog
    At least it's not lake snow...
    Praying you get some sunshine soon.
  6. You gave me a giggle when I read "fur hair." Thought of you this morning at ladies coffee. Big turnout this a.m., one lady was just back from a cruise, out of Ft. Lauderdale, thankfully not Tampa Bay. Love the mums photos. Great idea for you and the BF to see a movie. Wishing you better weather! :)
  8. Beautiful Mums . . . . lousy weather, shame . . . . but it seems you are making the most of it . . . .
    Oysters . . . . . . a rare something that's never on my menu. Not that keen on sea foods ~ I seem to love everything else though . . :)
    1. Hi Eddie...
      No oysters...or mussels...or clams for me either!
      I like shrimp though....and lots of fish.
      We don't eat wings at home anymore...too much fat for the boyfriend....I like them the odd time....
      Enjoy your evening..
  10. Every day brings new colors to your place. The fog has it's own beauty. Sounds like I nice dinner, but I'm not sure I could have had either. Not a real fan of oysters on the half shell, and my system can't handle anything spicy. But it sounds good!!!
    1. Not an oyster fan either Wanda....and luckily the "hot" sauce was on the side!
  12. Purty flowers, Linda. I'd take "fur" hair over frozen locks any day. I have a habit of wetting my hair as I'm running out the door. This morning I think it actually froze! Enjoy as much as that weather as possible. Hopefully the fog will dissipate so the boats can continue their journey.
    Thanks for sharing, Linda...
  13. How interesting that their tips are purple-y once they journeyed outside. Very pretty. I spent some time in England on the coast and when that heavy fog moved in it was amazing. You could feel the weight of it and could not see a thing. I quite liked it... but yeah, my hair would go berserk!
