The Week In Pictures.....

To Jane & Eddie....

Here is that creepy lady that sits here EVERYDAY!

You be the judge....

So....that was the week that was....

Foggy....cloudy....windy....wavy....cold!

Next week is promised to be GORGEOUS!

Hope you all had a great day....

I have veggie spaghetti sauce bubbling away....

Gonna have my best Greek salad as a starter....

And a nice bowl of spaghetti for dinner....

What's cooking in your kitchen ...this last Friday in February 2015....

Certainly will go down in History.....

For many reasons....

What will you remember about February 2015.....

Enjoy your Friday night...

             Cheers!  :o)

  1. Definitely not Meryl Streep as the F.L.Woman....she has a notebook and pen..a bird watcher? A poet? Author? Keeping note of killer shark activity? Lady who likes to make people look, and wonder what she's doing there?

  3. Most weird though she is at the same place all day, every day,
I would ask her if that is her favourite place . . and see what she says . .

Oh Linda I do hope next week is gorgeous for you.

Laughed at Jane's suggestion of the French L Woman and waiting for her lover to return . . . long wait I think !!! . . . . lol
I know, . . . she is a film director and practising for her next film, "Queen Kanute!" . . .
Or she might be trying to work out a crossword clue. or waiting for a message in a bottle sent in 1947.
You've got us wondering about her now. Go on ask her if she wants a coffee and ask her if she comes out in good weather as well . . . . :)

i've not been getting on the computer each day anymore. so i had some wonderful catching up to do.
i never let one pass. you should know i have to view and read each one!
i loved the one with the dew and the shells.
i think the mystery lady is an ornthinologist. studying birds. but... how many gulls can you count in one day??? :D
hope your tooth is feeling okay. what a thing to happen! OUCH.
did you do it on a clam shell? oh. wait. that was the boyfriend eating clams. you were eating hot wings.
still... with all the fog and cold and gloom... you have found bits of paradise to share with us.

  6. Just go say hi..
I can look pretty off on the beach with my hoodie ..camera and she'll stuffed pockets..;)
That's one of the things I love about there..
Then you go to Home a Goods..and no one recognizes you as the off girl on the beach..no hoodie..cuter clothes..and mascara..
    Great shots..I love Florida.
I will remember February 2015 as one of the coldest ever..but most days of blue skies and sunshine..hard snow..

  8. She doesn't look creepy to me, I guess. She looks cold..and it is cold there! ha. Looks like a poet that gets her inspiration from the seagulls, wind and sound of the waves.

  10. Love your photos today! It looks cool there though. I wonder if the lady is a birder or a writer with her notepad and pen. I'll be glad to see February gone thank you very much! Too much snow and cold for me. I don't think March will be much of an improvement though. We'll see. When do you head home? xx Pam

  11. I don't think she's looks creepy at all... might be a writer, or poet, or an artist... or just someone who enjoys the great outdoors. I wouldn't hesitate to speak with her and see what transpires. If she wants her privacy then you will know within a few minutes. Everyone has a story and I love discovering new ones. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. If I lived right by the water like that, I would be out there sitting every day too.
Love your blustery photos and the ones with neon colours really pop up amongst the grey.
I was invited next door for supper and we had spaghetti too! And delicious apple toffee cheesecake for dessert. My neighbours are lovely and their son, now 13, I babysat from the time he was born. He is a cutie pie.
What will I remember about February 2015? How eff-ing cold it was! Pardon my language :-D And I love winter... but I am ready for some relief. It's a balmy -23C at the moment. Better than -40C but COME ON! A solid month of this is too much... plus it was like this much of January too. Maybe I need to return in my next life as a penguin... or a polar bear...
Have you had some face-time with Miss V? I bet she misses you both!
Well now that I have written a tome (ha!) I will send you a warm hug from the chilly North. ((((( )))))

  12. Pictures of the sea look good, whatever the weather Linda. Much too cold for Florida, isn't it? February here is still Much Too Hot.
Suspect when our weather turns, so will yours! Do you think the snow will be gone by May in Canada?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Actually, I don't think she's creepy ... perhaps she can't have a lot of sun exposure and has to cover up and it does look windy and probably needs some protection from the cold/wind. I carry a notebook with me ALL the time and jot things down as I think of them. Random thoughts, ideas for quilts, poems and sometimes sketches. Perhaps I am the odd one! We live near a beach on Lake Michigan and often see people sitting in chairs during the summer bundled up for various reasons. No, she doesn't look odd to me ;-)

LOL I do love winter ... with all its snow and cold ... it allows for "non-guilty" (is that a word??) hibernation in the house during which I quilt, read, nap, cook, play board games with my Boyfriend. This February, however, tested my mettle with its arctic temperatures. Not the snow that bothers me much ... it's the temperatures. Hate to have to put on every coat I own just to walk to the mailbox ... feel like "Nanook of the North"! Linda

  14. I don't think the creepy lady is creepy at all. Maybe she just likes to be alone on a beach with the sound of waves in her ears. Maybe she is cold from the wind. I think she is a writer, writing the great american novel!

    2. I love clearing down the kitchen after a proper
session of cooking. Though I clean as I go,
for the most part ... there's still something
wonderful about putting the sponge away,
after a good day of bakes.
